Galio rework out for a little over a year now

And within this year he has been a great safe pick for competitive when the goal is to protect your bot lane that's worth 1/3 your team or more.

For me in solo queue, he is a little frustrating cause people expect you to be a front line and to ultimately them but when you try and make plays with your ultimate no one responds.

So now he is forced to be a straight AP champ and you have to win your lane. But it's not worth much cause he isn't really a carry champion, more of a 'background carry'.

And worst of all..he looks, plays and builds nothing like old Galio.

The first time I hated the game.... and for a full year now.

I dont know how I'm even playing anymore.

I'm probably gonna get downvoted for this but I actually preferred reworked Galio to be played/built like a tank like he was in the beginning instead of AP bruiser he is now.

I'd be happier if they gave him his unique healing back rather than the damage reductions every champion is getting now...

He had dmg reduction before but his healing and armor/mr was more interesting

galio rework is the only failure out of all vgus

it's trash, unfun, and most of all obnoxious as fuck

old galio had way more counterplay, was fun to play and way more unique, the reason he wasn't picked was because he was underpowered as hell but instead of buffing him they gave him a vgu

i hope that they keep nerfing him for pro until he's nothing, and then realise that his kit is impossible to balance

Old Galio was sending nukes at you with his skillshots, then flash ulting when you were low enough. And there’s nothing a mage could do against him since he got more damage the tankiest he got against you.

How is that more coubterplay?

yea, let's forget that his spells were all dodgeable, and that his ult could have been stopped/QSS'ed on top of staying out of range

Now new galio's R has no fcking counterplay because the AOE is huge for some reasons His new W has no counterplay except "running away" which also doesn't work if you're melee His E can't be dodged in melee range because high elo galio players will cast it backward to hit you instantly because of how galio's E works And let's not forget that now that galio can cast spells while enemies are taunted which means you can't dodge his Q

yea, but they didn't knock you up taunted and disrupted you so much, which are all the worst nightmares to melee champions, with the other nightmare that is, guess what? %hp damage that new galio has

He had to spend 3K gold for 25 AP back then through MR... what are u talking about. He isn't nuking anyone with 25 AP.

His biggest counters were morello (which was popular then) and was. Decent options for both AD and AP.

The only time his passive was good was lvl 1 and with W bluffs... that's its. It was a garbage passive that prevented people from playing Galio cause they thought they all needed to build straight MR.

Reworked cause no one had a brain.

Lol funnier. :p but I remember on the announcement Qtpie was confused on why Galio and he enjoyed Galio.... and for Faker most of his first games with new Galio he was complaining on how weird he felt and how the old Galio was so much fun... which he was..

He was one of my main champions, his ult was so funny to use

It did so much damage and felt so good to use... imagine Galio now with ultimate hat being available. Feels bad.
