As a Galio one trick, who is of decent rating, and one of the highest Mastery Points of Galio... i wonder if id finally make it into the PBE next week during the Galio update. im hoping for a bit for his skillset.

I would be surprised if it isn't changed significantly. Galio's w has the same arbitrary strengths against some champs that Poppy's old passive had (the one where if an attack did more than a certain % of her health, the damage was cut in half). To give an example, if ashe is attacking Galio (with his w active) and she activates her q, her damage will actually decrease. Since Galio's W only counts instances of damage, the fact that ashe's q splits her auto into 5 instances of damage it actually makes her damage worse. This is a very confusing and somewhat arbitrary interaction that Riot has been getting rid of in other champs. This interaction makes Galio arbitrarily strong against any champ that has a dot, and conversely arbitrarily weak against champs with only a few instances of damage that are much stronger than average.
Assuming Galio's w stays in any form (which I think it should), I expect it to heal based on a % of damage the shielded target takes instead of a flat amount that decreases every time you take damage. I also might expect activating your ult to make the healing stronger on your W, so that you can still do low health ults.

So then it would end up being flat dmg reduction like all ult, his old ult, and ww new e... But increased with healing. Interesting. Plus shielding a squishy will keep you SUPER alive. No wonder he looks so proud and strong while helmet bro and lux look so beat up.

I have a PBE account and you actually start with 0 RP 0 IP. Champions and skins are 1 IP though so it's really easy to get everything after a co-op vs ai. Runes however are the same cost in IP. No idea why. Also accessories like hextech and stuff are the same; no discount.

True. No UFO Corki skin to try out or King Rammus. You either had to play in the beta for LOL or tough luck.

You can get vault items from mystery gifting/hextech crafting still.. I got ice tobogan corki.. Now why can't i have that luck on a live server.

As someone who was utterly pleased with his main getting reworked, I honestly have nothing but good blessings for you. Riot really seems to have gotten the hang of these reworks and I am sure it will be different but still hold the same core values and appeal of Galio.

And let me tell you, I was worried as sin, but the result was something beyond my expectations.
They also redid

Talon was some interesting but in a way small changes... still much healthier than his silence days atleast. GO had huge differences but still is similar without the cheese minion sacrifice or team buffs he used to do. I feel GP was a successful rework. Th other than visually I'm not a huge fan of Poppy (Even though the older one was meh as Well) and i do not like the new trick at all (other than visually) even though the older version was kept weak cause his kit ended up being u healthy if they rebuffed him. Thats what worries me. I didn't like those two reworks the most other than what they look like and that's who is working on Galio. And so far from the teaser I'm so so on what he looks like. So if I'm not pleased with the visual and the gameplay that might be a game killer for me for a while.

Those were mostly small reworks as well... in comparison. Also unlike my opinion wher3 I'm meh on and and new poppy/yorick I preferred old we for the most part. His new e is just better.

His W was a little unhealthy BUT that was Galios main huge power spike as a champ

Well like I said previously I think you're supposed to re apply every patch cycle and it's also supposed to be based off players data. Since I have many Gallo games, a high ranking Gallo account, and an affinity to Gallo based roles because.. well. I play Gallo I should be up there on the list.

I've been sitting at work barely able to focus with how down o feel over this. This isn't a rework it's a redo. I may try him in the PBE if I get it but Idk if I care for this in the slightest.
