Using OP.gg for Self Improvement

I've never been a really huge ranked player, though I've always thought I could make Gold if I tried. Well, last season, I tried, got to the promos with only a couple of losses, and had 3 straight games of people running down mid from minute 1 for no apparent reason.

This season, I did my promos, got placed in silver 3, and climbed up to silver 2 no problem. Then, that's when I started to hit a bit of a wall. Any time I played ranked, it would be a good game and then a bad game, and I was pretty stagnant with my rating.

I decided to take a look at my stats over on op.gg, and I saw that my Taric, who has since his rework been my go-to when I was autofilled to support, was actually my highest win rate, with 3 wins in 4 games. So, I tried playing him in a game last night. We won. 2 more wins added in today, and now my win rate on him is 86%, 6 wins, 1 loss. Hopefully I'm on my way to gold with the Gem Knight turned Aspect of Targon. And now I also know to stop playing ADC. Seriously, jeez, 6 losses and 2 wins on Jinx, 3 losses and 1 win on Twitch, not worth it. For the time being, I'll be queueing as Support/Jungle rather than the Jungle/Bot that I usually do and just seeing how that goes. So far, it's been going pretty well.

Sounds like you haven't even found your role or main champ pool get. Figure that out then push with just that So few games isn't a sufficient indicator for Taric or any of your other champs. Would need at least 20+ to know if its working or if you know how to play them properly
