and he his strength as a champ for other roles mainly jungle is made pointless where he is a support .

but i think if you wanted to do it ... what ever boots needed is the better route. the ruby sight stone gives you 10% cdr on actives... so that means face, gargoyle, locket and glory is up quicker and you get wards and HEALTH from ruby sight stone

He needs stacks, but that's once every time his ult is up. I'm sure your ADC won't care much if you can convince them that more stacks means more protection for them.
