I actually have quite a few friends I play league with.

But not in ranked.

I used to have a group of 5 where we were all of varying skills but played on a ranked team together. We loved being able to see how far we could get without the pressure of destroying our own personal ratings. Now? I can't even play ranked with one of them due to our rating difference, and I wouldn't dream of playing with the others for fear of screwing up my own, or their, ratings. Dynamic Q DISCOURAGES me from playing with my friends in ranked.

eye roll I see you don't actualy want to accept criticism about DQ, and instead offer something pointless. My issue was created by Riot with no fix in sight now. I cannot play ranked with my friends without either A) ruining my own rank. B) Waiting to see if they can get high enough on their own to play with me again even if they may never actually get there.

Why were ranked teams a bad thing? It allowed competitive groups of friends to advance and hone their skills as a team while solo queue tested your skills as an individual. The current system puts both together, which would be great except it not only ruins the competitive nature of ranked but also causes issues like I have.

I like Riot in general as a company, and I don't join a large number of threads talking about SQ / DQ, however I believe DQ to be overall a negative experience. I think the new champ select is nice, but DQ itself is horrible feeling.

But screw me for WANTING to play with friends, right?

Are you even reading what I'm saying? DQ not only discourages me from doing so, but also I literally CAN'T with many of them. And your solution was "tell them to get good."

You tell people to stop whining, but when people bring up actual issues to the system you offer no solutions. I hope the system has worked for you, cause it has screwed many others :/.

It's veey simple. I could play with them before, now I can't. Telling someone to get good doesn't mean they are going to get good, much less even capable of it.

Not everyone is going to be good at the game. If that were true, we'd all be pros. I shouldn't be locked out from playing with my friends when before DQ we could all play together, be competitive as a team, work on what did and didn't work between us, and most importantly have fun together.

You're also overlooking the fact that mixing groups of players with solo players completely ruins competitive integrity. But you don't seem to care about that either.

My siblings and most of my friends fall into one of two categories: no interest in ranked, or they're significantly less experienced than I am. That doesn't work very well for trying to play Ranked as a group.

I have no objection to playing with a team, however; I would if I had a group I could play with consistently. I simply don't think the current system of only one ranked queue offers a fair representation of skill when all solo players and all teams are ranked on the same ladder.

I've had horrible experiences with Dynamic Que...in standard and one ranked game. No Thank You! I'd rather keep playing in Blind Pick, an occasional ARAM, and any of the "Rotations" that go live.

Even with a full team, the Que process takes too damn long, and so does the champ select/ban phase. Standard Que was soo much better...and also, if riot would give us 10 bans a side + 10 wild card bans...this and next season wouldnt be so bad. 6 Bans is NOT enough... Basically 6 bans say "ok, we don't feel like dealing with these 6 champs bullshit this match"...

I'd personally love to ban these 10 EVERY SINGLE MATCH Zed Akali Caitlyn Draven Ekko Lux Nidalee Teemo XinZhao I'm ALWAYS seeing at least 2 of those above every single match I play anymore...pretty sure the enemy would ban these 10 Anivia Alistar Blitzcrank Cassiopeia Evelynn Ezreal Heimerdinger Jhin Sona Leblanc

Its always those 20 who either are played or banned. with wildcard bans...you can imagine how pissed off people would get with their Go-To one-trick pony gets the ban hammer... It is what it is.
