How do i know if im feady for ranked.

I reached lvl 30. I waited for a while then tried my placements. I only won 2 placements out of 10. Still silver V. I lost a lot of games and didn't get demoted. Then I tried poppy jg since I did exceedingly well with her. It was a close game. I should've pushed to other lanes in the late game. We lost. Now I'm bronze I. Strangely enough, everyone else was bronze III/IV. Now I've stopped ranked altogether . I don't know if or when I should continue. So how do I blink of I'm ready sow I don't fall deeper into the depths of elo hell. Since I'm not gold, will my rank reset to unranked at the end.

You shouldn't start ranked until you have triple diamond in normals. That is diamond takedowns diamond wins and diamond monster/minion kills.

That's completely bogus, you don't need that many normals, just make sure your runes and masteries are in order, build according to the situation and play champs you know, assuming you aren't making any glaringly obvious mistakes you should do fine.

Just play easy champions and keep playing more games and ranked games. Dont care about your rank because it really doesnt matter if you work on improving you will climb. I personally like ranked because its a more try hardy close to the same skill level environment way better than normals.

you have a fair understanding of pretty much all the champions, such as power spikes, windows of power, and basic understanding of how they work.

Most important for starting out is game knowledge. Know champs, their abilities, their counters, and how they interact with teammates and opponents. You will see teams well put together and that comes from ppl being flexible with their picks.

Then theres simple mechanics; last hitting, correct trading, dodging abilities. These you can practice by focusing on a good landing phase and understanding your opponent and how he likes to play.

I think the most important one for low elo players is knowing when to fight and when not to fight. This is ideal when you get itchy for a kill on a low health opponent but they got full backup yet you still go gung-ho. The point is to always consider if the decision you're about to make is a good one. The flip-side is you shouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger. If you see that entering the fight is optimal, do it and do it correctly. I've seen too many fights lost because players are too timid to fight.

Lastly is understanding that not all summoners play champs the same. Every person has their own style (aggressive, team player, conservative, calculated, strategic) and you have to read your opponent like you would in poker. Good luck! Hope this helps.

You know you're ready when you get over fat finger syndrome and stop pressing "f" instead of "r" when typing "ready."

Lol. I'm just teasing though, listen to everyone else.

My advice, have at least 40 champs to play available that you know you can play. Then have 3-5 champs per lane that you know REALLY well. Have at least 4 rune pages. Don't follow mobafire builds most of them are trolls. Know when to trade and when to just leave things be. Greed = Feed. Know how to play ALL lanes. I don't care if you main one lane. Everyone has a personal preference. Just make sure you know HOW to play all lanes, especially support and jungle. Know your opponent. Read him. Find out through tactics whether or not he is passive or aggressive then find ways to use that to your advantage. A big thing about ranked is a lot of the plays are all head games. If you can master that you are ready for ranked. Otherwise prepare to be hated by your teammates when you go 0/10/0.

I'be been using mobafire guides if they seem legit. I also look at ratings and if ist high elo. I know what most items do. I usually break them down into categories of when to get them and alternate out considering who or what I'm up against. I also go cheaper if behind. I don't have any finished rune pages yet. I'm not the best support but I'm a good jg. I lack some tops since my main was garen b4 the juggernaut update. I'm a bad shyv top. Haven't tried ryze top in quite some time. I haven't done it since Ekko. I have trynd, malphite, and poppy top. Poppy is a better jg. I have a few jg's. I'm good with brand mid. I need talon mid. Mage gath is a gamble since you either good or bad. I have a few supports. I've learned one bad game will make the next Que hate you. I did shifty 1st time kha'zix. The guy from the last game dodged. I'm generally good in pubs. Not in ranked. Tempted to play it.
