A couple days ago, I get into a queue, I first ban yasuo since that's who I usually banned. I waited a few seconds for the OK to do so and banned him by default. Then some dick was said, "you banned my yasuo. Imma feed this game". Not only did I lose 3 lp, he didn't even bother to tell me. Who is this asshole. This is bronze. Why is a Tyler 1 style yasuo otp in bronze. It's not common at all in low elo.
Sarutobi2 votesHonestly this isn't anything new. Unless you are first pick don't expect to get your pick especially if it's a FotM/popular champion. Granted it would be nice to at least listen to your teammates. But sometimes a quick glance at the player in question would do you well. Like if this Yasuo player was 0-10 throughout all their matches for that day. Why would you want someone to play a champion they obviously have no clue how to play especially in a rank match?

pretty much this. never EVER EVER EVER EVER ban someone's pick intent without expecting some sort of troll reaction. usually if someone bans my pick intent and im last pick. i will ban thiers to make it even, then proceed to play as normally assuming it doesnt end in a dodge

Then he has no right to complain, but there is nothing you can do aside from muting him in the game. people like this are just common in this game. They'll bitch and moan every chance they get!

legionnaire991 votesAllot of one tricks are in high Elo the reason it's not in pro play is the fact you know who they are and can easyly ban unlike soloq ( most players go to high Elo by onetricking someone) and also no if you vs a master player both try the same champ for the 1st time he will 99% of the time win they need to also know the game to claim and get high elo
Lugg1 votesI agree that you can one trick a champ to high elo. The problem is that player will now be in a high elo and get their champ banned all the time. This will put them on other champs that they can't play anywhere near good enough to survive at that level and their MMR will take such a beating that they will be lucky to ever get there again.
That's why you don't one trick. You play a small group of champions and get good with all of them. That way you can never be banned out. Plus you have more options to fit into more team comps. This is a win for the player and for their teammates.
