Why don't people dodge in low elo when they know they will lose

Tbis doesn't apply to everyone but seriously guys. If you see a disco nunu, dodge. I haven't seen one before but it happens. If you see someone playing something that doesn't work at all like Annie jg, dodge. Would you rather lose 3 lp and 5 min or 20 lp and 30 min. I do it but I don't dodge in promos or if I dodged previously because 10 lp and 30 min. It also sucks to lose a promo game for free. Igs basically a once per day summoner 4 Is this a psychological thing along the lines of "no you dodge" or do people not care sometimes.

lol because theres nothing that cant be overcome in low elo.

Not necessarily true. If you are in low elo, and have been there for awhile, you likely belong there. This makes most low elo games relatively balanced in matchmaking. However, if someone troll picks, it greatly reduces your chance to win because most people on your team aren't good enough to overcome such a deficit.

In low elo you're more likely to lose due to your team not knowing they can take baron then off meta picks.

Because I don't negotiate with people trying to held me hostage with their "I don't want to go autofilled support so i will threat you with trolling". Well do it. I will lose 20 minutes of my life at best but you will most likely lose your account you invested hours of your life into and possibly some money too.

Troll picking isn't really a bannable offense unless you blatantly do it like the old support-smite singed (and Riot even backtracked on that one a little bit). If I pick Soraka jungle, but try my best to jungle, there will be zero consequences.

So really, it's best to just dodge if you care about winning. If you don't care, then that's fine. Just know that an off-meta pick won't get anyone banned.

Off-meta pick won't but mentioned disco Nunu will. And if someone picks Annie jungle without intent to troll, I will give it a try. Anything works in gold.

Are you sure these people even get banned?

Whenever this happened (fortunately it was really rare for me, had to do it like twice or three times so far) I directly sent ticket to support, describing the situation and trying to be as polite as possible. And...they were banned.

Hard time believing you.

Well, I cannot really convince you when you chose not to believe, can I?

Because ive seen my team lose against off meta picks and win with them when i was in low elo.

i dont care tbh. or let someone else dodge. i believe every game is winnable as long as no one feeds and you know what you are doing.

If someone is legit threatening to troll, then you cant report when you dodge.

If its just a pick that is bad or whatever but they want to play it, go for it. They feed they feed, but LoL is a game for fun. Also, kat support can get to masters so fuck it, lets go jungle annie. Ill carry your ass.

Wasn't sure how I was gonna feel about this post until you started talking about lp and realized you were referring to ranked. Not gonna lie, if I played ranked then I'd dodge in those situations too. >.>

In low elo all games are winnable. Even Annie jungles so it doesn't make much sense to dodge.

RecessHero1 votes

LOL sure they are winnable, just like they are in high elo. But it doesn't change the fact that an Annie or Soraka jungle greatly reduces your chance to win.

Some players like myself do not believe in dodging.

Or climbing...

Dream High1 votes

They're in low elo because they won't dodge those troll games.
