Too much negativity on the boards
Seriously, if you must criticize, then be constructive about it. There are just too many threads/comments that are just angry rants about balance [team], Riot themselves/employees, whatever it may be. Yes, provide feedback, negative feedback if you must but be calm about it when you do so and give legitimate reasons of your opinions. I know the boards only reflect a fraction of the entire community/player base but it's also one of the most visible outlets aside from Reddit. At least as far as the Gameplay Boards, there is just so much whining and complaining, it's actually very immature. Riot isn't perfect, no. And sometimes players are justified when the state of the game needs fixing. However, it's pretty silly that a lot of players want to vent out on here rather than try to find ways to play around it first. "NERF THIS, NERF THAT, XYZ IS OP & BROKEN!" "THIS CHAMP/ITEM IS CANCER" "@$%! RIOT" really? How uncivilized. No wonder the community memes about the game is played by 12 year olds (aside from questionable gameplay). If you think something should be nerfed, please give an explanation/reason for it. A real, well-thought reason. Not being skilled enough to outplay/play around something is NOT a reason to nerf it to your liking.
I might as well mention this while I'm at it. Upvotes/downvotes isn't akin to "Like" & "Dislike", it's about whether it contributes to the discussion meaningfully. Someone could have really good strong points but if they are unpopular, will get downvoted and their post will be hidden when it has no reason to be hidden. Be respectful, be responsible, GLHF.
