It's supposed to be a "team game", why is it that I am constantly matched with unresponsive teammates? Every game feels like I have absolutely no team at all. My teammates are unwilling to contribute, they don't pay attention, they don't do anything. I'm so fed up and tired of it. I try desperately to help my team, but they don't even help themselves. Why am I playing this game?

Getting invaded by the enemy team? You can bet my team won't be there.

Going anywhere to gank a lane? You can bet my team isn't going to engage, they aren't even going to move.

Trying to get my team to help obtain a neutral objective? Maybe next game, next year, next life. Sure doesn't happen in my games.

Every single thing that pisses me off in this game is related to how team oriented it is. Without my team, I am helpless. The enemy team shits on me in my Jungle and there is nothing I can do about it. It's impossible to snowball my own laners, because they either don't want me to gank, or aren't paying attention when I do come to their lane. Something happens, I know we can get that objective, my team doesn't want to help. This game is horrible. Either I get really fed and I solo carry a bunch of people who don't deserve it, or the enemy team goon squads my Jungle and prevents me from being able to do anything.

It's getting to the point where it's predictable, and not even fun anymore. I can tell by 5 minutes into the game if I've won or lost, then if the game is not looking well, I'm forced to sit around in a long ass 20-30 minute miserable game. Such a massive waste of time.

How the hell does this have so many upvotes? This is just a whiney rant about how shitty everyone is and hes probably low elo, doesnt ping when he ganks, and doesnt know how to ward his own jungle. There have been a thousand rants like this with more verisimilitude that get down voted to the fucking abyss. Seeing this upvoted is like seeing an autistic unicorn with huge balls.

(I can relate to pretty much this post 100% it's why i quit the game) I just think people like you like to troll and aggravate the situation further .

LoL is a team game essentially by definition. If you don't want to be reliant on your team whatsoever, don't play a MOBA.
It's basically saying "OMG I DESERVE CHELLENJOUR BUT MY TEAMS ARE DRAGGING ME DOWN!!1!!1"
It's not even commenting on balance at the moment. It is seriously just a rant about how much their teams suck and won't help him with jungle invades or objectives.

I dislike the circlejerky "omg you lose game if bot lane loses" posts, but I don't have the same kind of base hatred for them that I do this post. Why? It says nothing. It is literally a low elo player crying about bad teammates.

What is riot supposed to do about "bad teammates"? Are they just supposed to match this guy with diamonds and match him against bronze players?

No where did I say my teammates are bad. In fact, I get carried by my teammates on a regular basis in the games where the enemies are squading up in my Jungle to keep me from becoming a problem. This post has nothing to do with winning or losing, it has absolutely nothing to do with mechanics, champions, or the things that are being built. My complaint is teamwork is nearly non-existent.

Everyone wants to believe that they're the big shot who is going to carry the game, thus they don't give a single fuck about their teammates and what is occurring within the game. It's almost an every game thing. My teammates are concerned about "Did I win lane? Did I get the first tower? What did I achieve?

Often times the enemy team's solo laners are running around getting fed, ensuring that I am shut down and useless in the Jungle. Do you know why my teammates don't help? They refuse to help because all they care about is that they're 3-0 and got the first tower. They sit around farming in their lane thinking the game revolves around them and their lane. It's not always solo laners, it could be any lane, but for sake of example that's what I'm using.

Sometimes those people get big, they carry the game, but the vast majority of the time they do not. The game requires a team, and even though they won lane things go down hill quickly because they simply cannot 1v5 when the rest of their team got their asses handed to them. Literally all of it could be prevented if they'd simply play with their teammates and actively contribute to the game.

To me, working together as a team, having teammates who pay attention and are responsive to events around the map, having teammates who work to keep everything together when misplays are made, that is more important than risking everything on one player who actually thinks they can super man the team on their back and hard carry the entire game.

Being "bad" at the game is not the same as not paying attention or refusing to help. Even the highest ranked and best players in the world miss things or are reluctant from time to time, that most definitely does not make them bad at the game by any stretch of the imagination. My teammates play the game and their champions just fine.

Just because you instantly think that someone is bad at the game because they do not help their team, does mean that I do.

Wrong. You are trying to solve every math equation with a single theorem and it's impossible. This "generalization" is incorrect. League of Legends is a complex game and to say "you are the only consistent factor" is simply something people use to rationalize.

Let me ask you something, how many people drive your car? Let's assume that you are the only person who drives it. When your car breaks down, are you the one who broke that car? No. There are things you can do to help maintain the vehicle, but ultimately the reasons the car break down are out of your own control. Playing a game such as this one is no different. There are always things you can do to improve your situation, but the games are not entirely in your control.

Well firstly, you seem to build your champions wrongly. with item 1412 and item 3026 as a second item is a bad idea, and you weren't even ahead (5/5/4). Secondly, Riven jungle without boots in a 32min game. How can you gank / counter jungle without boots if you're playing jungle ? Or even with item 3153 item 3142 ? Lol

You seem to only be doing good with Diana , and yet your build is still wrong. Rushing item 3135 right after item 1414 is pointless, since you don't have enough damage to actually have a use of magic pene.

And about this. Do you even ping / use the in game chat to prevent your team ? They aren't here to babysit you, the game doesn't revolve around you, and people also have their own struggle in lane (maybe if someone didn't react to your gank, it's because they were behind and needed to farm, otherwise they would have given a double kill). About the invade, your botlane can't teleport near you the second enemies have started invading you. Most of your games, you only get 1 or 2 control wards, you're the one to blame here. Jungle has to ward his own jungle and the enemy's jungle.

Considering that i also play Vi in the jungle, your build does seem a bit problematic. The issue i'm having is that with what you're building, you're really trying to double down on her damage and forgo any survivability as a Bruiser. This doesn't work for Vi most of the times as you suddenly drop off the face of the damage map if the game goes for longer, due to how everyone else scales and as a Bruiser and a Diver, you need to also be tanky to be able to survive the damage.

I've tried Vi with a lot of different builds and runes and there's just nothing better than the regular Bruiser build. It's expensive as shit (and one of the reasons why bruisers feel so bad to play currently) but it is what it is. Vi has no options to back down once she's in the fight and you need to make sure you're either engaging a priority target to which your team can follow up on or you can take out the target/make the enemy focus you while your team cleans house.

If you have no issue climbing (aka winning games), why aren't you in an ELO where they are more helpful. Typically higher elos are way more responsive since it's a superior tactical outcome. Plus i'm in your elo. People are hit or miss, but it's far from 'every game people are X'

Because even when I am winning, I am not enjoying the game. All of my matches are stressful and in the end feel no different than if I'd have lost. Every single time I play this game, I feel so irritated that I have to stop playing for a while. I can't grind games out, it kills me mentally. One division takes at a bare minimum 7 games, that's a lot of games. Playing even four to five games in a single day is enough to make me want to break my PC.

Yeah, I get that statement. I do, which is why I recommended not killing your health over a game that you do not enjoy. Dealing in what is not what should be. Your health should come first over hoping to direct a game towards a place you can enjoy it. That being said it seems like a lot of his issues come from being with bad players which has little to do with Riot. It does some, but there's only so much Riot can do after a point. A team based competitive game is always going to be subject to that if you're in those elos.

Yes actually you ARE responsible. A car is a machine - and therefore not unpredictable. If the car breaks down then it was overused/abused and did not have proper upkeep.

A better analogy: Humans are unpredictable - so something like a car accident is sometimes out of your control.

However, if you get in 15 car accidents in 1 year while the average guy gets in, let’s say, 1 - then you’re probably just a shit driver. Is it possible that you’re really unlucky and you actually drive well? Yes. But realistically you are probably doing dumb shit which leads to those accidents.

im telling you the same im telling my own jungler, when he gets invaded.

if i think we cant take them, because our champions are weaker early on, i wont respond to the invade and i will ping you back. whats the point in handing the enemy team a double kill and your buff?

if i have two minion waves infront of my turret and would lose out on 200 gold and the xp, im unable to respond and i will ping you back.

if you cant contest an invade, do the rational thing and trade camps. let him invade your jungle and immediately go into his jungle and steal one of his camps while hes busy with yours so you dont lose out, instead of wasting time around red or blue buff just watching the camp get taken.

just dont expect a Nasus to come in and contest an invade at 2:30 minutes against a Rengar or Khazix and a Renekton or some shit.

the moment you see the enemy jungler walk to your side of the map through the river, do the same and just take his krugs, or gromp and wolf camp or anything you can. or just prepare for the possibility from the start and start red and then go to blue so he walks into an already cleared jungle and wastes time.

look at both of your teams on the loading screen and take a moment to think, if the enemy could invade and if you could constest. if the answer is no, then plan ahead and adjust your route from the start.

Before anyone even say it's a "walk to lane while alt tabbed" moment you can clearly see trist was standing still for the first few seconds and THEN she starts walking to lane. I don't know why play a rank game when you're not going to give it your full attention seriously.

The low-hanging fruit here is obvious, but Riot has proven they'll do nothing.

In bronze, there needs to be a restriction on which champs you can play in ranked based on previous plays. People can bitch and moan all they want about "ok so now I can't play my main on my smurf account?" Yeah. You can't. Becuase that's a minor concern, and its for the greater good.

I see so many players in bronze literally hit shuffle on which champ their going to play and riot refuses to do a damn thing when the ONLY advice people give you about climbing is to stick to three champs. And just to break it down for the simpletons out there: If you climb by sticking to 3 champs, playing 20 champs over 30 games is the opposite of climbing. And in ranked, thats the same as trolling.

Blocking a player should mean we don't queue with them.

This is the most basic and obvious solution that there has to be a financial reason riot has decided not to do it. If every time some player showed up and fucked around, and we all blocked him, they'd have a longer queue time. And it balances because if YOU went around blocking everyone you'd have a longer queue time.

This is so obvious and helpful I actually blame Riot for causing problems in Bronze. Like the U.S. in the Middle East. They make things worse.

There needs to be "ranked bans" based on sucking constantly at zero LP. This would act like "falling out of the bracket" without having to create a new, lower bracket.

I can't even climb out of fucking Silver despite having achieved Diamond IV in Season 6 and high-Platinum in Season 7. FUCKING SILVER!!!!

I have NEVER, EVER have had this kind of a hard-stuck situation before. In earlier Seasons, whenever i was placed in Silver, I just destroyed the opposition and got out in a matter of days. I've been stuck in this fucking shithole for months now! I am so dependent on my teammates it's not even funny. Why is it that when the enemies are disabled, they still win as a team because they just put their power together, but when a single teammate on my team is disabled it determines the outcome of the game? This is bullshit and i can't climb! I am playing Jungle and no matter how well i do, the people here just manage to shift the blame on me every time because i'm actually trying to win and they use me, the "activist" as a scapegoat.

It's propably the meta that's been ruined from strategic thinking to casual pew-pew-boom-fests so hard that forces me to never be able to close out games by myself because a single opponent can 100 - 0 me in less than 3 seconds almost all the time due to the massive amounts of damage existing. Especially when they just decide "Oh Kindred is practically playing alone vs us! Let's all use our easiest cheese tactics and go all-in on her. Flash, Exhausts, Ignite, everything! The rest of the team is worth jack shit anyway so they'll fall over like dominos!"

And it works. I don't even know what to do at this point. I can play every role and not even Jungle can save a Solo player that isn't korean or something.

No it's because the game has lost a lot of it's depth and difficulty, meaning that skill differences mean less at lower elos as everyone is basically swinging with the same stick. My most recent game, i went 10+ / 3 or something and my entire team was losing they eventually managed to come back but still flamed me despite me being the ONLY person on the team that was destroying the enemy team. We won after my team almost threw it at their fountain, going for kills.

It's cuz late-game turns into a horror movie of jumpscares and one-shotting. You can't counter certain abilities, especially if they flash up to your face for 100% hit ratio.

the main issue is that there IS a correlation between skill and climbing if you map it out on a spreadsheet. If my personal skill in relation to my team is a 5.5, and I raise it to a 7.5, 8, or even 9, I will win more games on average. However, and this is the problem - your team isn't always a 5 on average. Sometimes they're a 4. Sometimes they're a 3. Sometimes they're a 2. So you can win the games where you are a 7, and your team is a 4, and their team is a 4.5 on average (23 > 22.5). Okay. Gotta carry to climb. What if your team is a 3? Now you don't win. 19 > 22.5.

The issue is this feels bad, and just like with champs, what feels bad is often more important than the statistical reality. When you get 3-4 games in a row where your team is a 2, 3, 4, and your skill level is a 5.5 or 6 or 6.5, then it feels like shit, and it doesn't matter that the stats will regress to the mean and you'll climb over the long haul, we're humans, not machines, and not everyone can deal with that cycle of frustration and helplessness, especially when you put a lot of time and effort into getting better, and getting better doesn't generate an immediate, dopamine-pumping reward (like say, the enemy nexus blowing up, or you dunking on the enemy team), or only generates one over the super long haul. Now, does this negate the fact that you'll win games if your skill level is 7.5 that you won't at 6.5? No. Obviously you can get better (though realistically, not everyone has the time or dedication to get to say, mid Diamond in skill level, which would be an 7-8 compared to the 5 that is Silver-Gold). But it is frustrating, and frustration sucks the fun out of competition.

I said it to my friend before, league has a need for a voice chat.

I dont mind league becoming more and more team oriented in term of winning the game, thats perfectly fine and should be encouraged. However, if they are going through that direction, why not put a voice chat so people can work together?

The arguement about people who flame in voice chat is, in my opinion, fucking retarded. All riot has to do is to put a mute button for the voice of a player and thats it, youve fix a problem. Not only that, but people tend to be respectful or atleast not flame when it comes to voice chat. Of course, theres always going to be that one asshole but thats what the mute button is for.

So the system becomes even more biased towards streaks? Fact of the matter is that every ranked game has this problem, it's just especially bad in League because of how snowbally it is and how long games can last

Yes but rito can explain to the players how to play, what to do when, why looking in the mini-map is a task, how to be helpful, how to be smart, how to avoid this, how to pick a right champion in the right role, etc. but riot does no Guide, And no instructions to the players.
