I've already adjusted to the EXP nerfs but this has to do more with teammates. Literally as soon you make one mistake, the player alive pings come rolling in, "you're useless", "don't come to my lane again", like legitimately my other lanes can feed badly but the jungler remains accountable for everyones mistakes.
Jungle is dependent on its laners to support it. for about 10years it was always laners have been dependent on junglers for support.
sub-diamond laners have not adapted to the shift. In their mind they are still depedent on you, and dont understand the macroplay associated with jungling, or with giving their jungler the tools/oppurtunities/help they need to succeed.
It's not which jungler is better, it's which laners are. Better laners destroy enemy JG, JG is a spectator sport right now. Like a peasent on the sidelines, and when the fight ends, they come and kill the peasent like filthy cannibals.
What I hate is that the mistake doesn’t even have to be a big one.
You didn’t get a good leash and had to smite your second camp? Guess you are getting double scuttled and invaded for the rest of the game.
You ganked top while the enemy was bot? Gg dragon.
IT DOSENT EVEN HAVE TO BE YOUR MISTAKE!
You get 3 man invaded and your botlane doesn’t show up to contest? You no longer get to play the game.
Your baby bitch top laner is crying for ganks into a fucking illaoi? Gg
Mid doesn’t come help with a scuttle fight their laner roamed to? Gg
Any mistake. And I mean any mistake and jungle is done.
If your bloody teammates don't know what map awareness is that's the problem.
As an support main I signal to my jg if he's getting harass to come bot, so i can assist him. Most of the time a good jg listens and it becomes and 2vs 1 and jg gets a kill. My experience in my last two games have been atrocious my jg has been doing his own thing. I'm like "ok ignore top turret" "where the fuck are you going". Geez worse than my pet cat Troy.
the best is when they don't ward your buffs and you lose them to the enemy jungler. Or if they ward it you see him and spam ping for help and that laner just doesn't move
You have to play Olaf, Lee Sin, maybe Eve, Nocturne, anything that can run into lane at level 2-3 and just spam ganks for kills or you just wait and watch the enemy do that to your team.
If you play anything that relies on your team to follow up or actually do anything, you've already lost. If you play scaling stuff, you're highly likely to have lost the game by the time you hit 6
The role is fucking terrible right now.
Honestly, after jungling for a very long time and suffering the abuse of both Riot's changes to the jungle every single season and the constant bashing other roles give it, I don't even bat an eye anymore to people who try and trash talk me about jungling. Like I've been playing this role longer than you've played this game, and you want to believe a WW at red buff can teleport to the enemy mid laner and save your ass? nah, I'm no miracle worker, I'm going to keep pathing and do my thing.
But it does get frustrating, because I have to learn little changes and sometimes whole uproots every season.

It's virtually a game of "pick lee sin/rek'sai/warwick/olaf/xin zhao or be totally dependent on your lanes to defend you from invades since you can't ever 1v1 these champions or contest scuttles from them without dying after".
If you lose, it's a stomp because your lanes were losing and you had no prio over river with your jungle camps getting invaded by enemy laners and their junglers.
If you're winning, it's because your lanes were winning on their own and you'll still be afk farming to stay one level under your ADC who won their lane while they all take towers and skirmishes since your waveclear is trash and you don't make the same exp and gold income from pushing lanes as laners do.
EVERYONE blames the jg man... Just mute and ping mute trash players... If they can't understand the game the should not be playing it.
pretty much. if u make 1 mistake as jungle and especially if you die you are just screwed. you need to play a perfect early game lol. no pressure
Thats why ppls start funnel, there is no point to farm jungle.Riot tried eliminate this but all changes make it even more common. So sad there is no voice com after 10 years or that will be even easier to do,guess what happend ;) riot will add monsterhunter to complete jungle item but peoples will swap to................ not buying it at all and only share lane xp and do buffs.Both Top and Bot ends with support+carry with smite.
If they are blaming you for their mistakes you do not have to give damn.
All you have to do is farm as well as you can, look for ganking opportunities on a lane that is not hopelessly screwed and ensure you wont lose dragon when you are ganking/invading around top.
Regardless of the role I play, I have chat completely disabled. Additionally, I mute the pings and emotes of any player who spams them.
Imo, they should just give back catchup xp so the autofill jg doesn't automatically lose the game for their team by being a minion

The rabadans was just because I had a 3600 gold back after taking the dragon and half the enemy jg solo lol.
Taking my JG knowledge to bot lane support and running it into the enemy JG. It's even better when the enemy JG is autofilled and has no idea what just rolled over them.
That game I literally beat the crap out of the enemy Diana in 1on1s, kicked her out of her jungle, and had her at lvl 6 when everyone else was 10+ She ended lvl 8 1/7/2 KDA and less CS than me when my team had 3 lvl 12s.
I always say that as the jungler, "I can't play the first 3 minutes of the game for you" to the laners who are like that. You dying before I have both buffs is 100% a you problem.
the best part is it's a self feeding cycle so the worse the perception of the jungle role, the less people que up for it and so eventually it seems like you have an autofill jungle every game. rarely seems to be a problem for the enemy team somehow. before I get savaged in the comments "lololololol every game is winnable lolololol ur just noob lolololol I screw ur mom lololol" I'm just saying how it feels, obviously you get good junglers every once in a while but the autofill jungle situation is pretty ridiculous right now.
whenever im autofilled jungle, i have ppl dying when im at my 2nd camp. like im garbage and i dont even feed that early goddamn .
