^ why they can't...roughly

without autofill queue times would spike up...sometimes going as high as 30min+ on a bare minimum

still better than getting someone as a jungler or support who cant play those roles

learn roles or dodge :)

Requiring auto fill at all is just a reflection of poor game design.

'Most people would rather not play support if it can be avoided'

Not the players' fault a game developer insisted that a support class of character was at all required to be included and utilized in their game.

And, yeah, Riot has tried many things to make support look enticing, but, in the end, players generally do not want to do it.

Meteora7071 votes

funny thing is support is the second most contested role in decent elo

IP Masquerena1 votes

Funnier thing, it's not Riot who made support be as it is now on bot and etc, iirc, there was a time when the comp looked like this, 1 top, 2 mid, ADC bot and a jungler.

Players found out that if you put the 2nd guy from mid to protect the ADC so he can farm more it's actually better, so here we are.

Plus, it's not Riot's fault that the role is not enticing, it's the fault of the players. I played a Soraka game not too long ago, we lost all lanes, and I got hard flamed by Jhin for trying to protect the others as well instead of ignoring them and just protecting him. Sorry Jhin, a fed Fizz is more dangerous to you than an MF and Alistar you could solo if you played a bit safer, not my fault you dive them 1v2 while I'm saving Zoe's ass.

Players, most especially ADC mains want the support to be the ADC's slave, and to be the one that allows others to carry, not be the carry themselves, and a vast majority of players are scoreboard players, who'd rather lose than win a game where they got carried, at least if they lose, they can blame someone else for them doing bad, if they win on the other hand and they performed the worst, who can they blame?

note that autofill was their last resort

that means either stuff they did before it was implemented failed...or was shelved because it wouldn't work/couldn't be added because it broke parts of the game

CarpeConundrum3 votes

I'd rather wait 30 minutes for a game rather than lose mmr because someone can't support or jungle. The only solution is to lock ranked behind a higher level requirement and require people who want to play ranked play X number of games on all roles in normal draft. Like 25 games on each role so at least they can be semi-competent if they get autofilled on jungle, sup, or whatever else.

Are you talking about the normal game where the ashe actually performed better than you from the jg?

ah on this acc? i won my lane hard, i had like 400 stacks in 19 minutes but ashe didn't defend mid and we lost. that was different ashe jungle btw she didnit perform better than me

she was the worst lol

Damage charts dont mean much if you're a laner comparing damage to a jg due to trading in lane.

when your mid loses 2 towers in first 15 minutes there's not much that you can do as a top laner. thats manily mid and jungler's fault

Zardo2 votes

Yeah there are things you can do as top.

You could've snowballed your lane harder. You could've farmed better, becoming a bigger menace. You could've roamed. Would Khan have lost that game? Would TF Blade have lost that game? The answer is probably no. Figuring out what they do to win and implementing it in your own games is how you improve, not blaming your teammates.

Roam vs aatrox as nasus? and go mid to gank kassadin? as NASUS? u mad bro? also i didn't play on 100%. i queue up for normals when i'm in a bad mood or sleepy and whem i'm not focused or not enjoying the game

Roam vs aatrox as nasus? and go mid to gank kassadin? as NASUS?

Yes, if you really are a better player, you will understand how to create leads through proper trading and wave management, especially against players pre 30.

Then why blame others.

no purpose of talking to you, you have no idea how nasus works and that pre 30 are mostly dia and plat smurfs that are leveling their new accounts. also enemies were 4 or 3 men premade and i was solo.

Zardo2 votes

you have no idea how nasus works

Except I do.

pre 30 are mostly dia and plat smurfs that are leveling their new accounts.

Ok, then you would've lost regardless of autofill if this was the case.

Literally all you've done is blame and try to dodge responsibility. Learn humility, improve, and profit.

IP Masquerena1 votes

I don't get it why players like him think that every pre 30 acc is a smurf...

Have a friend from work just start the game, as in, fresh to moba type of new player, yet our Yasuo (I1 Yasuo who claimed to be a Grandmaster smurf) kept flaming him and calling him a troll, noob, etc.

Good thing my friend knows as much English as I know Chinese, exactly 0.

Meteora7072 votes

"just gank the kassasdin as nasus 4head", when you're really desperate to tell people to git gud but you aren't good yourself so the advice you give is godawful lmao

Zardo2 votes

You don't have to kill someone for a roam to be sucessful. Besides, you realize kassadin has cooldowns, right? You realize if he uses his ult to trade in lane, that leaves windows where he's vulnerable, right? You reallize how ghost works, right? Put all these together and you can impact the map instead of complaining about how your mid and jg are losing you the game.

Meteora7072 votes

you don't run ghost on nasus if you're good at the game :)

you realize kassadin has cooldowns

yes just wait in the bush for him to use his 3 sec cd blink, then just walk up to him in the 3 sec and kill him as nasus, no he wont be able to walk away at the exact speed you're walking towards him!

Zardo2 votes

He ran ghost on nasus this game.

yes just wait in the bush for him to use his 3 sec cd blink,

5, he's not going to have cdr since he'll have tear and will be building into rod and it'll be pre 11

no he wont be able to walk away at the exact speed you're walking towards him!

No, he won't. He'll get withered, and akali will have a chance to get on him and burst him down. If akali misplays and kassadin has flash he'll possibly get away, but it's still a good roam.

Meteora7071 votes

it'll be pre 11

so a nasus, will beat aatrox, before level 11, walk into mid lane without a kassadin realizing top is missing, then somehow wither the kassadin from across the map who somehow has everything on cd so the inting akali can one shoot the kassadin? yeah this seems like a pretty good plan fam.

  • no jungler in your team + enemy has jungle rammus who pressure every lane and it's premade with kassadin

good idea indeed.

Zardo1 votes

If you're way better than aatrox as nasus you can beat him pre 6 with proper wave management and trading. If you're just a bit better you can beat him at 6 with sheen.

walk into mid lane without a kassadin realizing top is missing,

If they do realize that top is missing early, they have to respect it and back off, conceding pressure

then somehow wither the kassadin from across the map who somehow has everything on cd

He doesn't even have to have anything on cd. It would just make it easier if he just used his ult to trade.

inting akali can one shoot the kassadin?

  1. Akali wasn't inting.

  2. She doesn't have to "one shoot" the kassadin. She can get on him with R, then follow him with e.

okay so your plan revolves around the enemy players being absolutely horrible at the game, well that's enough pack it up bois just get terrible enemies and then zardo can tell you how to beat em.

Zardo1 votes

No, you literally just have to be better than the enemy top laner. Cute strawman though.

IP Masquerena1 votes

Don't bother with them.

It's always "my team ints" and the "enemy team is perfect".

Everyone makes mistakes, but the only way to climb is to take the experience you gained by crying so much about the mistakes your team makes, stop looking at your team for these mistakes and look for them at the enemy team.

Simple, yet effective, especially in lower elos.

You do need to be better to climb and win consistently, and for that, you need to actually play better and outsmart the enemy team. Sometimes, one mistake is good enough to lose you the game you worked so hard to pull back, I should know that best.
