Why don't Tryndamere's crits deal reduced damage?

I don't understand why Yasuo's crits aren't allowed to do full damage, but Tryndamere's are. Tryndamere gets to be invincible, gets to dash whenever he wants (unlike Yasuo who can ONLY dash if he has a target), gets 35% free crit at level one, gets an aoe slow, and a heal. I don't really think it's fair that Yasuo is the only one whose crits deal reduced damage. With all the sh*t that Tryndamere gets in his kit he shouldn't be allowed to have full damage crits either.

By your logic, Yasuo gets 50% free crit at level one but clearly that is not the case because we use common sense here. Tryndamere has to generate rage to gain critical strike chance and only gets 35% at max rage.

Yasuo, on the other hand has two passives, double critical chance and a shield that is generated by movement. Not to mention Yasuo can crit through his Q.

To be fair, Tryndamere generates rage rapidly late game and, as stated by OP, he can become invincible. Yasuo is vulnerable if he gets jumped on.

Well if you want to compare kits, Yasuo's is considerably more overloaded no matter how you look at it.

Tryndamere does have a survival ultimate, but he is by no means invincible, he cannot drop below 1HP, but he will still take damage. Yasuo's kit has theoretically infinite dashes, ranged poke, hard cc, and can combo with allies with his ultimate. Yasuo gets a shield that is nearly 25% of his base HP so you can't really call that vulnerable.

I suppose this is true, they do both have their strengths. I do think Yasuo is far stronger overall in the current meta, but Tryndamere can be really destructive too, if you don't have hard CC for him.

Another thing worth mentioning is you can actually stop prevent Yasuo from ulting by cc'ing him. Tryndamere can still ult even when hard cc'd. Yasuo is a million times healthier than Tryndamere will ever be.

Because Tryndamere only crits with autos, while Yasuo weaves his Q in to increase his DPS through AA resets and can AOE crit and crit from range, among a myriad other reasons. It's also there to force Yasuo to build more damage, because if he wasn't reliant on building lots of AD he could potentially build bruiser. People complain that Yasuo gets too tanky already.
