I just really can't fight him. His W and Q are basically instant so you can't dodge them easily without wasting a mobility spell or something. He has so much damage in his kit it's just not avoidable. Usually I play someone with high range or high mobility to counter him (
for range, 
for mobility) but he still manages to stun and 100-0 me. Can someone help me here?
Zane Zephyr1 votesIf you dodge any one of his skills, then he can't really 0-100 you and that is also your time to go in.
If he hits you with an E or W, you can assume he's going to fish for a Q so stand back behind your minions or just outright back off until his passive wears off.
If he misses his Q, then go in on him because he literally has no way of defending himself because he has no other CC.
Also, stand outside of your minion wave so he has to make the choice between using his W to poke you, or to farm minions, and also if he uses W on minions stand back until his passive wears off so he can't spread it with his E.
If he's constantly trying to poke you he will run out of mana pretty fast so that's also another way you can try to outlast him too.

(Annie is in there for that instant stun, since Brand is squishy as hell)
Keep moving, stay behind minions, etc. His stun is still a single-target skill shot that stops at the first target hit. I suggest widening your pool of champions to play around him. There are many more mages (with AoE stuns) that are much worse offenders than Brand. Every champion has their strengths and weaknesses. With Brand, you gotta either out-range him, surprise him, or get in his face. He's entirely combo-based, so dodging/messing up his combo with cc goes a long way since he wastes a lot of mana trying to poke people down.
Kai Guy1 votesIn general, Stay in motion and keep minions in-between you and him, don't hold still and don't be predictable, if his Aoe cast is off centered your gonna have a better time not getting hit by it. his Q get blocked by minions so use them as meat shields.. With leblanc your gonna just want to drop him fast on your terms rather then just use W to avoid his W, Ori you should be able to poke him down with QW when he moves in, and if your using wave well he will want to move in to E range to open his combos. His ulti hurts most when there is a few things to bounces so move away from allies when its bouncing to prevent it hitting you much, his passive just hurts so try to prevent him getting stacks, mostly by staying out of his E range and avoiding getting hit with a WQ.

if brand comes near walk away if brand walks away go closer but not too close
kite him if you can, maybe you cant
use your minions use your range use whatever you can but don't get close if you don't have defense
This is the basics.
next decide, "do I really want to fight brand?" because if you feed him he will kill you pretty fast if you don't have defense
speaking of defense
MR and hp are nice together they scale multiplicatively but what good is this if you die instantly, same goes for sustain, you want to get some extra hp if they can 1 shot you.
Learn to farm, learn to control the wave, it goes on and on

if you feed GET OUT OF THE LANE!
if you cant farm then go top or bot or do whatever you can to get away from him. Don't swap just roam and kill things.
lastly, the fastest way to learn is to just watch people play.
