Why is it so hard for bad players to take responsibility of their rank

All you see are bullshit rants on bad teammates when anybody whos taken a probability 101 course knows that after about a hundred games your rank accurately predicts your skill level within a few games margin. Not to mention platinum players play like intermediate bots when it comes to macro, theres no excuse to not win the majority of your games to climb.

Having bad teammates? well the probability that the enemy team has more bad players is higher unless you ARE the bad player. So objectively speaking the people who complain about bad teammates are bad themselves.

It's hilarious how many people subscribe to conspiracy theories about how matchmaking is out to screw people.

Its funny cause it's tier 1 primacy effect at work here. People notice the most when they are in ranked when they get horrible teammates, but never notice when they don't, and after 2 or 3 times of getting "bad" teammates, they just say "all the time" rather then realize it was only 3/10 games they guy a feeder

Why is it so hard for good players to realize they aren't good enough?

Because its much easier on the ego to point out someone else's mistake rather then sit down and think about how i could have turned that around and spot out my own mistakes
