he was also pretty much full build.

just shows how pointless defenses are in this game. you just build enough of it to cover your bases, so you dont die to random aoe or get blown up all too quickly, and the rest is better off in damage. because come lategame, you can dump 5k gold more into resistances and health and youll survive maybe 1 auto attack more for it.

i rather die in 1 second and take someone with me, than in 2 seconds while not doing much at all.

The tank meta was so dominate a few patches ago they nerfed it quite a bit by giving others buffs and better AP items meaning tanks fell off very hard.

there as never any tank meta. tank meta would imply, that tanks actually dominated the game. there was just tanks actually being viable again after theyve been literally kicked from the game for nearly 2 years. except for the occational supports like leona and tresh.

and lategame they still blew up just like they do now.

Not true at all they needed lots of nerf and poke the incredible tanks, people were taking smite top just for the cinderhulk, there was a tank meta and i think it may have flew above your head

cinderhulk was still not stronger than other options. i laned with ignite against cinderhulk laners and never had the feeling that my choice was weaker than theirs. i could always go toe to toe with them.

cinderhulk didnt completely outshine other options and the meta wasnt centered around the item. and its highly debatable that these tanks needed nerfs. because imo they didnt.

compare cinderhulk to bork/devourer. and tell me which one of the two actually defines the jungle meta.

Well its obvious that the bork/devourer think is a lot stronger then cinderhulk and it made a better change, but at the time devourer wasnt a thing so it cant be compared. Its like me trying to compare the release of twisted fate to that of bard. There are clear differences but both change the game, Bard had little to no impact on the meta however twisted fate did. In that sense sure, it could be a devourer meta but the item is high sustain damage, which is the only counter to a tank, very high sustain damage. Annie wasnt walking around blowing up maokai left and right but if that annie built devourer bork she would kill that tank in half the time, assuming they had the same amount of items. Tanks fell because of devourer, tanks were so strong, and they fell off very very hard.
