rename the pinkwards to pink wards.
i dont know a single person who says control ward.
literally everyone calls them pink wards. because thats what they were for years.

And make them pink again. (to be fair they were called vision wards, they were only called pinks because they were pink.) fun fact, the green wards were called stealth wards. Only nobody ever called them that. they were just wards.
I miss season 4 too
Ok sure but why
Yes
Seriously, why the fk are not pink anymore?
Green wards are yellow, now. Keep up!
i say control
Same.
Then again, I started playiing in August, so w/e.
I say "control" and I started back before Season 1.
I guess we don't have a problem with adopting and adapting.
Pink and Green do not denote their function. "Everyone I know" is also not a strong argument point. What is a strong point is that there are no longer only 2 ward types anymore, but 6.
I've never called them by their color. Not to mention with ward skins changing it now is ever the more pointless.
The eye of the oracle is pink in colour. Also, fewer syllables and colour easier to recognise in the shop.
Agreed, make pink, call "Pink wards" I still call them pink wards, even friends that are new to the game call them pink wards, they were never pink wards for these players, but these players know that they are in fact, pink wards.
They were never actually called "pink wards" before just fyi.
also your friends that call control wards pink wards, that are new, are either made or or color blind. There would be no reason for them to call them pink wards if they weren't around when vision wards were referred to as pink wards. Calling shenanigans on this one.

Nope, everyone that played before still calls them that so new people pick up on it adn call them the same.
I mean I hate to be that person...
But they are red now.
They were never actually called Pink Wards in game, and that was completely fine, so this doesn't make much sense.
I call'em red wards from time to time
[slayer-pantheon-popcorn]
They should be called red wards.
I think they looked way better back when they were pink
I say control ward with an emphasis on the "Control" part of its name.
"We need vision "control" in the river".
i dont know a single person who says control ward. literally everyone calls them pink wards. because thats what they were for years.
Because
exists and has the tag "Oracle" to denote it's function, while
does not perform the same function as "Oracle" items as it cannot provide true sight, BUT disables traps, and reveals enemies hidden in the brush or fog of war.
Pink is True sight used for unveiling Invisibility while Red is Reveal sight used for revealing Camouflaged units disabling traps, and seeing enemies hidden by Fog of War and brush cover.
If we call it pink, it will be false advertisement.
If we change it to pink, its still false advertisement.
Just going to throw in here that I prefer to refer to Camo and Stealth or Camo and Invis accordingly because the 2 are not the same.
Also, Roots are not stuns, and anything that doesn't stun/sleep/paralyze/phase isn't considered hard CC. While we are at it, I call what is known as hard CC "Disables".
Roots do not disable, so I don't technically consider that hard CC either.
I say control wards, and they were never called pink wards even when they were pink. People just said pink and green wards, just like "red pots".
I call them: the one wards that disable other wards and cost 75gold
Fun Fact: Searching "pink ward" in the in-game shop brings up the control ward.
Riot had acknowledged vision wards being called pink wards before the change to control wards.
