Rito forced me to learn Yasuo, Riven, Darius, Renekton, Fiora

I don't even enjoy playing any of these champs.

Or I can't be competitive on top lane in blind pick.

Fk this game srsly.

I tried to make Chogath work all day... but shitty ass champ = shitty ass champ. U meet a Yasuo, u become his doggy.

"competitive" "blind pick" nothing to see here i think

Ranked is a joke with such balance.

at least play draft ... oops na don't have it right ? ^^ i think

Garena and Oceania don't have it. I have accounts all over. Played since beta. Have no interest in Ranked.

you can play draft without going ranked i think

There's no Normal Draft on Garena and Oceania and a few other regions.

come euw where we have skill and draft normal i think ^^

Doesn't change the fact that I'm trying to make my favourite champs work...

So far the pattern has been-

  1. After I get some win streaks, I'll try out the off-meta champs I enjoy - Chogath, Wukong top.

  2. When I get lose streak again, I go back to the Yasuos, Rivens, Renektons... to try to ramp up some wins again before the mmr tank too low and the game becomes too strange.

edit: Getting Chogath to work is a challenge- his mobility issues. I'm even employing items such as Banner of Command to help push.. because it is sometimes too risky to roam with Chogath. He can be so easily picked off. For all his tankiness, it is still risky to make him go ward in enemy territory. He's better off with the blue ward. Sometimes I think to myself why play such a shitty ass champ just for the fantasy of being a huge dinosaur.

Wukong can beat Fiora and Yasuo in lane

It goes even maybe. And Wukongs gotta put more effort than Yasuos.

No, you can win hard if you know what you're doing

even if u're winning... there's a chance that Yasuo will rekt the other lanes. He does a faster burst of dmg than Wukong. Even if wukong reacts, he will not achieve the same effect as Yasuo.

Most of the time I win or stay even in lane with these champs. But it is simple for them to rekt my teammates. That is the main problem. I can react but not quick enough for their burst

Sure. Try telling that to the over 80k players that are good at the game.

Fraggleroc2 votes

as opposed to millions... u know only a small portion of players play ranked?

It is hardly pointless.

These champs dominate Blind Pick for a fact.

Maybe not Darius... but the rest certainly do. Including Caitlyn for bot etc.

really, i have an issue with darius and cait and fiora's W and R is stupid, but riven renekton and yasuo dont really bother me, well, riven a bit

A number of friends have left the game after meeting the above champs on numerous encounters.

What a nonsense. Unless you play in LCS, champion picks are completly irrelevant. And even there, skill beats champion picks. Your claim is utter bullshit. There's so insanly many things people do wrong in low elo, picking a champ that has a very minor advantage isnt even worth mentioning

Are u sure? Most games are over by laning phase in low elo... When your teammates feeds 0-7 to a yasuo in a lane.

And, did they go 0/7 because they simply played worse, or did they go 0/7 because their champ is marginally worse? You seem to believe that a different champion pick would've meant a different performance by them. But if they dont know how to play against yasuo, it doesnt matter which champ they play, they will feed with every champ. It is not the champion that makes the difference, it is the player. With a few exceptions, that are specifically balanced around certain elos - azir for lcs, garen for bronze, for example - the difference in "champion power" is so slim, its like one drop of water in a full barrel... meaningless.

They feed very hard only to snowballzy, hypercarry champs. Mostly, the burst of dmg was not anticipated.

These champs stand out because they excel in 1v2, 1v3 etc situations.

You're very wrong sir. Try watching pro's on youtube and notice what champions they pick and why they pick that champ (as they might explain in some videos). Even in LCS they'll pick champs that work best in team composition and obviously are in meta. Hence why LCS champs often see nerfs. Player and the champ are both but factors into deciding who wins the game. Team work and experience are also factors but the champ certainly plays a role hence why there are winrates for CHAMPS and not for players to help riot see which champ is in need of nerf or buff. You can only use as much skill as the champ you are playing offers. Its simple statistics and i believe it is but common sense that some people just outright deny.

Fraggleroc1 votes

Sorry sir... SoloQ will NEVER be the same as LCS.

By all means, if I play with a group of 4 close friends, I won't be afraid of the above champs let thru thru bans.

LCS Pros have mastered almost anything else, so for them, champion strenght starts to matter. This is not the case for low elo. When you trade, how, when you freeze and push, knowing how to play dozens of matchups during any stage of the game, positioning in teamfights, the ability to lasthit, to hit and dodge skillshots, to have an overwiev about all 40 basic abilietes+ passives + summunor spells in a teamfight, knowing how your teammate will use them, and how the enemy will use them, then act based on this knoweledge, and countless more things, these are all things pro's have nearly mastered. At this stage, one of they very few factors where you can do better, is the champion pick. But again, in low elo - generally anything below lcs - players dont have these things mastered and screw them up nearly every single time. Thats what im saying- because theres so freaking much they dont do, champ picks are by comparison simply unimportant. And even in LCS, the really important thing is the team composition and lane matchups, and not the difference in champ strenght.. while it becomes relevant, it isnt such a big deal.

Fraggleroc1 votes

So anyway, I won't play Ranked if I don't know how to play at least 2 of these champs, being a top laner.

They're that important compared to the dozens of other top champs.

Riot doesn't care about balancing, take a look at mentioned champions, at the weaker ones, or at the matchmaking system : D

How... are you losing to Yasuo as Chogath? You fighting him levels 1 and 2 bro? dont do it. Get your 3 spells work your combos, get level 6, eat a few minions.

Buy thornmail (new one is REALLY good now) and Randuins. Then get Gargoyle stone plate and always activate it right before you ult, because you get HP scaling on damage for your ult... TRUE damage, mind you...

You will one shot the Samurai
