I paid for Armor Penetration runes, not Lethality

...and I want a refund. I went to great expense for my AD Malz page, which I use for Gangplank among other champs, but here's the thing: I spent thousands of IP for armor penetration. Not lethality. It's your game, I don't care if you change every stat to "Happiness", which heals the enemy opponent for X stat, but my point is, I didn't fucking pay for lethality. I bought armor pen runes. and goddamnit, that's what I want.

Revert the change or refund my IP.

And for fuck's sake, if you downvote provide some feedback as to why. I realize Gameplay is full of coward's who belong in the town square rotting in the stockades for their dumb opinions, but the least you can is decide if you have a ball-gag in your mouth by posting WHY your dumb opinion is wrong...

Riot does not give refunds for updates to content, sorry. If you wanted Armor Pen then you'd still want the Lethality runes. If your individual Runes are eligible for a refund with a token you have you can submit a ticket and refund the lot with only one token.

Riot doesnt care about customer service. You can spend thousands on skins get banned and Riot will go too bad we still got your money you want your skins back rebuy them

sorry but because you payed money doesn't mean you can go around breaking the rules whenever you please. You chose to do something that got you banned? then you get to pay the consequences. Riot has said it many times already, if you got perma banned they DO NOT want you playing their game

Tell that to the singed support who did nothing more than not play meta when supposedly its not enforced. All riot cares about is money nothing more nothing less. The original owners sold the game to corporate its a corporate money machine now.

I've never actually heard of anyone getting banned for it, though I've reported my fair share of autolockers who went on to feed.

He wasn't a feeder tho he carried his way to plat playing singed support with smite to early cheese enemy jungle. Its just Riot's automated report system is easily abused and Riot always defends it no matter what.

This discussion is really old, but I'll interject once; he actually got to Plat as Top. He fell back nearly to Silver as Support.

You only get notified about a ban if you happened to report them in the game they got banned for. So if they play one more game before getting punished you don't receive a notification. Just based on that it is highly unlikely that you will ever see a notification for a couple reasons.

The less you report the less likely you are to see a notification (duh) but the more you report the less your report is worth, so if you report a lot your reports aren't very likely to trigger the system without a lot of other reports, and while they do still add up is reduces the likeliness of the game you report in being the one that calls the system to check.
Anything a rioter is personally called in to oversee doesn't send out notifications. You are only notified if the automatic system doles out the punishment.

A lot of the report options are ones that cause a Rioter to have to look over it (most of the ones relating to language/communication) so while reports in those categories are just a effective, due to how they are dealt with you aren't going to receive a notification.

As someone who has been playing for about 3 years I have seen notifications for 2 bans, one of which was on the PBE (Which is a lot stricter) So don't be expecting to get many notifications.

He was saying what he was going to do, without giving his team an equal say in the matter. That isn't communication with your team. That is saying you are going to do something and not giving your team a say in the matter.

If you are going to have this argument please go read the terms and agreement that everyone who plays league agreed to. In there is clearly explains that actions like the ones he took are not acceptable.

oh you mean the singed that EVERYONE told him to not do what he was doing and he still kept doing the exact same thing? the singed who refused to adapt at all? the singed who thinks that copy pasting a paragraph and then ignoring all forms of feedback from his teammates is "communicating with his team"? The singed who didn't even bother asking his team if it was ok for him to do what he was planning to do?

yeah he did nothing wrong at all. He got banned because he disrupted the game of everyone he played with, refused to communicate with his team and cause nothing but a negative environment whenever he went "support". He did not got banned because he went singed support nor because he wanted to double jungle. If you are going to defend the guy at least have the decency of actually knowing why he got banned. There was literally ZERO money involved in his banning so that makes your entire argument INVALID

I dont know the Laws in the US, but here in EU Riot has to refund People for everything they bought in the Game if they bann them from the Game. No Matter its their Game or not.

Its just cause noone (from the banned People) took Riot to court ^^

Well, if the removal of runes is confined to ONLY me, then of course it's dumb.

However, the demonstration of the failure of the rune system has been demonstrated over and over. Perhaps complete removal is at least a stepping stone to a system that can accomplish the desired affect more efficiently.

You look at the OP and find fault with my complaints, not the legitimate criticism that I in fact DID spend thousands of IP SIMPLY on armor penetration. How is that NOT the fundamental problem?
