So, what about Kayle?

I'm too busy to get into a game of league recently, but from what I am seeing at my friends sated devourer together with the AP-item-Changes have turned her into a brutal beast.

Well, I have to say that I am honestly not surprised about this. In the current state her kit is either undertuned or completly over-the-top wrecking everything. I assume that it is the fact that you need zero mechanical skill to steamroll once you get the items (before the fanboys come now, you cannot deny just how mechanical SIMPLE Kayle is. It's so simple it's almost unfair that this champ is even viable in competitive play...)

I'm sure she well see nerfs soon, so I'm not even begging for some, but when with these this will not solve the underlying problem with her kit being unbalanceable in her current state. Isn't there a way to make Kayle strong without making her broken at the same time? She is a rather unique character and I would like her to see more play, but that's a no-go when it's unhealthy to the game itself.

On top of that her theme is an absolute thematic miss. I mean, a graceful angel from a higher plane of existence and all she does 90% of the time is swining her fire stick like a retarded caveman? Sorry, but I'm not convinced that this design has any form of aesthetic...

Also... her quote still irritates me.

"Into the fray!" -> Keeps standing away from the battle as long as possible and the mechanically the best thing your champ can do is kiting...

I mean, you got holy light powers, wings, a SWORD MADE OF FIRE - comeon, Riot, there has to be SOMETHING awesome you can do with this!

Actually take this, switch it around, and it is a far more accurate statement. I've carried more than a few games in the passed few days as Kayle of the Jungle. Sated = strong. Mid Kayle is still meh, breaks too easily.

When mastered lane Kayle is better, jungle Kayle is simply easier to win with when not as experienced.

could make the argument that any champ is "easier" in the jungle since you dont have to lane.

Jungling isn't "easier", you have far more responsibilities when you choose to jungle. Some champions simply function better in one or the other even if they are capable of doing both. Even when laning, their success depends on whether it's top or middle. Although, shouldn't be a surprise it's better to go top as Kayle.

why do you think i used quotation marks? I dont know why you would say jungling is better on her when you have basically nothing to cc anyone with other than a slow and being a late game hyper carry. Mid lane is where she is played the best.

diamond kayle "main" that plays her mid with a 65% win rate in over 150 games. Shes better mid, shes bad in the jungle.

Dunno, as an allrounder champ she does every role pretty well - apart from ADC maybe.

I remember back in season two when Kayle jungle was a strong and completly legit pick. She has ganking power, cc, builds attack speed abd has splash damage while also having sustain. Sure, a bit bluebuff dependant, but surely a viable jungler.

Also, nowadays even toplaners take smite, so that can barely be an argument...

Watched a video of jungle Kayle with Stated and using mainly on-hit items. Ridiculously OP.

The worst part is not that she is so strong - it's that the kayle player has literally nothing challanging he has to DO for this damage. Apart from rightclicking and pressing e and q whenever they are off cooldown... Oh, and it's not like you could miss your slow anyways...

It's not Kayle that's broken, but rather the current state of the Sated Devourer item. It allows abuse of on-hit items and multiplies a champ's damage.

It has been always like this whenever Kayle got strong. At least that's my experience from the last years.

Kayle is one of the older champs that has a major design flaw: either the champ is turned off (aka useless placeholder/barely noticed) or turned ON (wrecking everything). This binary structure makes it impossible to have her balanced without forcing her to be somewhat undertuned...
