With all the complaints against game time, I thought I’d throw in my two cents; I’m not trying to prove anything.
I’m posting this to ask if it’s really so uncommon or if it has to with ELO or whatever. What do you guys think?

Selective bias could make you forget shorter games
Maybe you're just good at stalling out games.
maybe you refuse to surrender even when super behind.
combine these with how low elo games still end up running long even in the current meta and there is your explanation
Madsin251 votesDepends on if it is a normal or ranked game. People dick around in norms usually which tends to stall it out another 5ish minutes.
As far as ranked games go the elo has everything to do with it for different reasons.
1.higher elo players know how to end games through experience. 2.higher elo players have more "drive" to end games for obvious reasons. 3.higher elos are less likely to throw.
