The state of magic penetration
The assassin class rework is here. And it has benefited AD assassins a LOT more than their AP counterparts.
For reference, here are now all the items you can buy to acquire armour penetration, or Lethality;

Each of those items have their situational niche, which gives AD assassins a plethora of options when they need to pierce someone's armor and look for different types of utilities. Nevermind the fact that the AD item pool also has other great items like Maw, Scimitar, Bloodthirster, etc.
Meanwhile on the AP side...

That's it. Three items. One of which is so weak it can't really be used on mages that don't have good DoT or spammable abilities. How are mages, and especially assassins, even supposed to deal with anything now? Magic resist options have increased with the inclusion of
, so in exchange magic penetration gets shafted even more? This is beyond unfair, and feels especially terrible for the new Kat and Leblanc, who both need Mpen in order to blow up their target. If Magic Penetration left a lot to be desired before, it is now outright terrible.
