Are we ever going to see Butcher's Bridge again?

I loved the Bilgewater event. Everything about it, the theme, the lore, the music (god, the music) - the entire execution was immensely entertaining - and I was expecting the map to stay for good just like the Howling Abyss after the Freljord event. It's been a few weeks now and there doesn't seem to be any indication that we'll ever be seeing it again, and I feel as though it's really a shame to see all that effort just... disappear. The community is always talking about how they'd love to see more of Runaterra. @Riot ; do you believe it would be possible to add Butcher's Bridge to the ARAM queue, and have it alternate/random between Freljord and Bilgewater?

They're also there to give new players the illusion of multiple modes, and then they realize only SR has ranked.

It's the same reason Burger King, Taco Bell, McDonald's, etc. pushes and pulls special things from their menus all the time: it makes it more special when it comes back. If Riot doesn't plan on bringing Butcher's Bridge back, then that doesn't really make sense, but it'd also be another map to keep track of and update and whatever. If they just added it to ARAM and made it randomly choose between Howling Abyss and Butcher's Bridge, I really don't see a problem with it because they wouldn't have to add a whole nother queue

I dont want Butcher Bridge to be an RP skin, or a skin at all. Just randomize to pick of one or the other ARAM map, wouldnt be too hard to do.

I agree I love the map too, it would be great if like you said it randomly picked between the two maps, adding slightly more randomness to the ARAM

I hope not. I really didn't like it. I gave it a shot but I didn't like it.

And I like the more the idea of playing on:

A bottomless crevasse surrounded by an ancient fortress carved into a glacier. No one remembers who built this place. No one knows its purpose

Than on a bridge in a stinky town, really didn't liked the gray-green surroundings. And those ugly rats that ware supposed to be like poros...

The only thing that i liked on that map ware the new turrets. Wish the Howling Abyss had its own turrets.

Are you willing to give up the HA for BB? I mean with you rather never more played on the Abyss so u can play on BB?

Thing is, that's not what a lot of people are asking. They want the choice between the two maps, or for it to be randomised each game. Also wharf rats>poros, fight me.

I love Howling Abyss, but I really wish these skins were random. Or at the very least make HA the winter skin and BB the summer skin.

Should be a skin you can buy for the map.

Riot can add it to the "free rotation" for every once in a while to give people a taste.

People have been asking for maps/announcers for a long time. It took a while to get ward skins. I can't imagine map skins being cheep though.

Maybe with the new client we'll see more of this stuff.

Edit: Would love to see more of this in the future too. Imagine a TT map/mode for a lore event where you have to corrupt/save the forest there. Starting off as a lush forest. Turning into the TT we have now as the undead side takes over. Then the lush map becomes something you can buy. Map could go on a "free rotation" as a cycling event like we have now with URF/Hexakill/One for All.

More map skins would be awesome (I know the main map is a little boring sometimes). But how would it be chosen? Would people vote on the map before the match? If they were bought then only one person would need to buy a map to give that option.

It'd be better for free maps.

I would not mind having it as a skin tho... but i am not.completely sure if that tech is done so it can be a skin.

They could make it a random map for aram (so that you either get howling abyss or butcher's bridge) and make the music switchable from the settings (like before where you could select classic-updated-bilgewater). I don't know why they trashed everything like that.... Such an huge waste.
