Exhaust now reduces true damage

Seeing as how a lot of champion have true damage in their kits now, we should have some way to counter it, right? I want more than just armor and health. What do you think?

Even if this happened, you'll still have armor pen, last whisper, grievous wounds, crit, etc. There will still be many ways to take down tanks.

Well it sorta does reduce true damage because let's say you exhaust vayne she isn't gonna get as many procs of w compared to if you don't just a indirect way of countering it.

Also when true damage comes from AD (Olaf) or AP (Cho) then exhaust lowers those stats = decreased true damage.

Or am I wrong?

Exhaust doesn't lower AD or AP. It reduces movement speed, attack speed, and damage dealt.

It also reduces armor and MR.

Oh.. My bad..

I think it used to remove chunk of AP/AD on target and thus lowering their damage..

Thanks for informing me ;)

Champs with True Damage not including ignite/red buff: Olaf(Flat), Vel'Koz(flat), Vayne. Garen, Darius(scaling flat), irelia(flat), syndra, fiora, Cho'gath(flat), Yi(flat) Rek'Sai with max fury(flat), a dead zyra(flat), and twitch(flat). 13 champions out of 120+, and if it did, say good buy to anyone with flat true damage, specifically olaf, and it does very little against people like Vayne, and Fiora, because you are reducing damage based a % of their max health, which is a much lesser nerf then to flat dmg.

You have forgotten about dead Kog'Maw (passive), Ahri (returning Q), Corki (passive) and item entropy.

Also i'm not sure, but isn't Volibears skill also deal true damage (when he bites)?

Volibear's bite is physical damage.

Volibear's bite is physical damage.

No, deals dmg based on enemy missing health.

it's still physical damage

Active: Volibear bites the target enemy, dealing them physical damage that increased by 1% for every 1% of target's missing health.

It doesn't matter what stat it scales from; it's still physical damage.
