Because this guy dominates near every matchup having more damage than the midlaner with less items. I have never seen him go midlane once now. And also the apparent 53% winrate as a support right now.

With that out of the way, I agree brand really didn't need his passive to do what it does now.

MLDzXnRRR1 votesBrand has pretty bad waveclear mid compared to Orianna/Syndra/Viktor and so on who can farm or defend from a longer range/ with less abilities, while he is a great mage support. It's funny that he is not meant to be a support, while Lux/Ori/Syndra have decent supporting abilities, but can't really go bot.

You can, but her base dmg and mana costs are pretty bad for a support. Same with Ori; Syndra feels too squishy for botlane, I've played her there in the previous seasons and she wasn't very good.
