The support rework (utility + gold) was a complete an utter failure, i've been saying this since mid S4 but no one actually seems to notice that.

Base damage and utility of every support nerfed for some AP utility scaling that you simply won't be able to make any use of (except if you're Janna or solotop Lulu, yes a solo laner Lulu uses those scalings way better than a support Lulu)

Thresh 71.43% pick & ban, followed by Annie, Nautilus, Alistar and Leona

5 tanks (Annie is played as a tank with talisman + glory) out of 5 top picks, how is this any balanced?

where are Sona, Zyra, Karma, Soraka, Janna (only 10% but still better than others wich are simply non-existant), Nami, Lulu (only played solotop-mid)?

can we have a botlane that is not made of CC bots "who CCs the one first wins the lane"?

it's not even a metagame problem, since the only and ONLY time we saw non-tank supports being picked more than tanks since S4 was the Janna-Nami-Thresh S4 worlds era

I Main nami , and I love the actual support rework ! These 3 support are good ! , yeah they can still work on that , but not another rework ! we dont need it !

...what the hell ...a support is there to CC the enemy team ... Thats our goal ! CC to let our ADC get some kills ... I dont want to steal any kill , dont want 100-0 any champ , i just wanna be super usefull to my team to lead them to victory !

Um no Soraka and Sona where proof that supports where not there simply to CC the enemies. They can be healers, pokers, buffers, etc. There are many ways to support someone that isn't "I lock you down till you die." Sadly riot has forgotten that and we are stuck with the crap state support is in now. What is even worse is that so many "support mains" actually think they are better off inspite of how bad things are. Riot literally dangeled the "see shiny items" carrot in front of you while breaking your legs with a baseball bat and you are so tranfixed on that damn carrot you don't even realize you can't even stand on your own feet anymore.

I was saying way back when the changes where announced this was a mistake and we would see supports in solo lanes while mages would become new supports.

Got told I didn't have a clue and the sad thing is we have had 2 seasons now showing just how right I was and people still want to defend this garbage. S3 support rework should be completely reverted as well as all changes that have been made to supports since then, including Sona and Soraka reworks.

I main support an I actually like where support is right now, even with the tank meta non tank supports are still viable and can really good game influence overall. The entire support roles is about feeding teammates kills. We are not assassins or trying to go legendary every game. Its part of the role to sacrifice damage for cc and utility. If support changes then the game will should be a free for all. Or what you can do is just play Twisted Treeline, where support isn't needed or find some way to influence Riot game developers to create a new permanent game mode to where its just 5v5 kill fest.

Yeah! Like a game mode where say... instead of a square it could be a circle Maybe we could capture points instead of breaking turrets.. and no wards Some map we could like... dominate the enemy

Even if they made URF a permanent game mode wouldn't be a bad idea because that is an all out free for all as well sort of. I wouldn't oppose that idea for a game mode.
