Just played a game with 44% tenacity
It feels like I have 0.
CC creep + CDR creep is the reason why the game sucks right now.

Congrats you did it
Don't forget knock ups/displacements not being effected by Tanacity what so ever, there is a lot of those.
Dont face tank a leona and think you wont get stunned for a year and think mercs will save you? If youre getting CCd that hard for that long, you were out of position and got caught.
I think Tenacity should offer diminishing returns on incoming CC. Say you have 50% tenacity, the first stun would be reduced by 50%, and further stuns within a period of time would be reduced by 75%, 87.5%, etc. Diminishing returns would be applied separately for each type of cc used (Slow, silence, stuns, etc.) so getting stunned wouldnt reduce the effectiveness of slows.
Ironic because those are were only made to keep up with Crit damage creep
Probably in large part because a lot of the new CDR is knockups
CC is only as powerful as it is right now because of how much stupid fucking damage teams put out.
The only time I ever felt I got tenacity when I as
(in URF btw) was nearing 70-80% tenacity. Then only those stuns seem shorter.
CDR creep is irelevant because even tanks are dead in 3 seconds nowdays
Riot has been consistently nerfing CC since release (See rammus,Fid etc)
However there is knockup creep. Tenacity has been troll noob bait stat since 2014
I think they should rework Tenacity and make it a % change to ignore CC
So you have 35% Tenacity means there is a 35% chance to NOT get CCed. Knockups being part of that.
OP i´d guess you encountered one of these following situations.
Enemy team had a lot of CC.
Enemy team had a lot of knockups/displacement CC (unaffected by tenacity)
You were playing a immobile melee against Tristana/Ashe.
For the first case you can only stack merc threads and either precision tenacity or resolve tenacity or possibly both if lucky along with an Iron potion, you´ll reach like 60-75% tenacity like that.
The second case is a hopeless one.
Third case....i don't play immobile melee myself just to avoid it x)
