I've been here for a while. Varus was the best adc in the game at one time.... And now he's deffinitly the worst. This game has done a complete 180 since i started. It's crazy

Varus has a slow which is pointless lately because slows don't do anything vs mobility. His ult is litteraly half this size of ashe and is doesn't stun it just immobilizes. His q and blight arrows are the only good thing In his kit. For an adc he has 0 disengages where as every single other adc has some kind of mechanical stun or dodge aside from kog who is basically a Cannon. Varus is completely immobile and super slow.

He's really not bad. You just need to have a disengage/poke comp, whereas the meta is more about hard engage and assassins currently.

I have a friend IRL that plays Varus adc and crushingly dominates pretty much every game.

I've been around months before Varus (Talon release) and I honestly don't remember him ever being a highly contested ADC (like Trist/Vayne/Jinx) considered one of the best...

In fact his uptick in play mid/late last season where mid Varus was becoming somewhat a thing is probably the most popular I have ever seen him after the "new champion" sheen wore off. Other than that mostly complaints about his lack of mobility and how other champions basically did all he could do better.
