Do ranged carries really need to stack leathality?

They already get HUGE benefits from stacking crit and LS, why do they need to also be able to stack lethality? Cant riot just bite the bullet and admit they were wrong on this? they CONSTANTLY nerf and buff lethality not because its good on someone like or , but because champions like abused it far harder than melee assassins do.

So is there ANY reason at all for ranged carries to have lethality on top of building or ? the ADC pandering NEEDS to stop. They have been a staple in the game since lane roles were established as meta and has never been different
