Is shyvana still strong in low elo

Shyvana has always been my main champion. I abused the crap out of her when PTA became a thing. She got hit by a massive Nerf. The PTA changes and the nerf to her q really made her winrate drop significantly. The % bonus damage now scales starting at 4% and goes up back up to 12%. Her w was so strong because it was 12% all game. Anyways, weather she is still strong is in the air for me at least. I'm in bronze 3 and she's like the perfect bronze jg where she's easy to play and naturally gets ahead by farming. I hope to make it to at least b1 this season because I did hit b2 in pre season. Anyways ive played shyvana ever since I started playing this game. That's was late into s4 before her abilities got visual updates. I played her top then sated devour, then she goes dark until rito reworked her and now it seems she's in and out of the meta. Anyways is she still strong at lower levels of play.

Well most champs are strong at lower elo, champs that are hard to do mistakes on are the best for low elo. I think Shyvana is still a champ you can play in lower elo, so you should be fine ^^

different elo same game, I don't understand how people see a difference in whether the champion will work or not... it's still league of legends and different elos don't provide different champion abilities. It's all about whether you can play the champ or not... I was told a few of my mains don't work in low elo but that didn't stop me from playing well with them, one of those being Mordekaiser and I've seen a bunch of hate thrown his way and being said to not play well in low elo, k well playing that champ hard carried me from b5 to s3 last season coming #1 in damage almost every match. This is seriously such a senseless thing to worry about please don't fool yourself with the nonsense, just Play.What.Works.For.You, not what works for your favorite pro player or what other players can play or not.

Well there is another meta in lower elos compared to higher elos. The thing with lower ranks are that they make too many mistakes as well as not punishing mistakes and with that mindset, some champs will work more than others. I do not recommend Lee Sin in lower ranks cause not only do you need to play a lot of early game which means more risks but also he is very easy to do mistakes with. Master Yi is and will always be a good pick in lower ranks since it's hard to fail mechanically with him and you usually don't get punished as hard as you do in higher ranks.

But I do say I recommend players to play what they feel good with and should not play a champ just because it's op or a counter-pick. Since you know your champ well, you'll do less mistakes and that's why playing your mains are much better overall.
