In a game I played yesterday playing ADC, i thought the enemy ADC was just a smurf that knew how to dodge but everybody a few people on my team said the guy was scripting. In the real plays it some of his dodges seemed really good but he was getting caught out sometimes.
Mysticman892 votesIf it seems consistently flawless, then I might throw a report their way and let the systems that can actually tell sort it out. I don't feel we as players can tell for certain the difference between exceptional play and scripting, but riot on the other hand does have the tools to tell, so if you have reason to genuinely suspect it, then a report is probably warranted.
I've been involved as a moderator in other games where botting/scripting has been an issue, and one of the more frustrating things is the number of players who won't report suspected scripting for fear of being wrong and getting punished for misuse of the report system, which in turn means some scripters/bots are able to stay in the game for longer than they otherwise would. I'm quite sure riot is perfectly aware that players can't really tell for sure, and a report is just there for them to look into. If you start spamming scripting reports on everyone constantly then that's probably misuse, but if you have genuine reason to suspect someone, by all means report them. (Of course, a rioter can feel free to step in and say they handle things differently here and to disregard everything I've said, but I doubt I'm too far off-base.)

TheChaoticSwede1 votesI remember specifically one time while playing ranked with a friend that there was this guy on the enemy team who had a diamond border from last season even though we were in Silver.
A few minutes into the match I got a double kill from him and his support and he lashed out saying he hated this elo hell and I told him he belonged here because he obviously boosted. (It was meant to put him on a bigger tilt. He was adc btw)
About 20 minutes in and five deaths later the guy logs out for like a minute or so and then comes back suddenly last hitting all the creeps and dodging literally every skill shot that was thrown his way along with the most perfect attack walk I've ever seen outside of LCS. Because he was adc and naturally had a lot of wave clear and push pressure we ended up losing because we literally could not hit him with anything unless it was targeted.
Of course he wasn't saying shit during this time even though he was complaining about it the whole game up until that point. Also since he lashed out to his teammates prior they had no problem reporting him for scripting as well.
Idk if the guy is still playing but I'm pretty sure everyone in the game reported him for scripting because of how obvious it was. If that wasn't it then it was a legitimate elo boosted account and should be banned anyway.
