I just like to point out how Riot successfully forced Dynamic Q on the community

They've successfully ignored us long enough that everyone has given up asking for it

Slow Clap Riot Now they know that can do that with anything the community doesn't like.

What are you guys going to do? Quit the game?

This entire pre season has been an utter disaster.

"Riot death timers are too long, it makes games super stompy"
Riot response: Nah working as intended guys. 5 months later they finally decide to reduce them

"Riot towers are weak, they dont do damage and die too fast, diving is too easy" Riot response: Nah towers are stronger than ever. 5 months later they finally decide to buff them

"Riot dynamic queue ruins the solo queue experience and trivializes the ranking system" Riot response: Nah our stats show that 90% of people love dynamic queue its the best.

I just find it hilarious how they community notices the flaws in their changes almost immediately and yet they refuse to listen only to do backtrack months down the line.

This game is only enjoyable with friends right now. IMO

never gonna play ranked again.

Tired of the 4 man tower dives at 7 minutes in.

Tired of the 3 man invades at my blue buff after i clear red and neither of my laners come to help because THEIR team is on coms, while ours isnt.

What are you guys going to do? Quit the game?

  1. Updated Warframe.
  2. Installed Smite.
  3. Started watching Fairy Tail.
  4. Decided to finally play BioShock.

I got my League time covered for quite some time.

Played League everyday since November 2012, until November 2015. If Mid-season Update goes live mostly unchanged, I'm going to completely uninstall League of Legends.

I've got two dogs, there's plenty of shit on my lawn. No need to have any on my PC.

They didn't simply ignore the problem.

A lot of the DQ posts have been quietly removed

I haven't quit but I have been playing A LOT less. I was gold in seasons 4 and 5 and had a couple ranked teams floating around in silver. I played several games almost every day. But now I play 1 game every 3 days or so. Always with friends and always a normal game. No more ranked for me until solo queue is here. I've also stopped buying RP in season 6.

In the meantime, I've been in the Overwatch beta so I've been enjoying that. No solo queue in that game either but it's a closed beta so there probably isn't a population to support it yet. After the beta goes down next week, I've got a few games in my Steam catalog to go through, Far Cry 4 primarily.

Dynamic queue has really soured this game for me. I actually was for it when it was introduced but its flaws have become very apparent and I don't like Riot's attitude towards criticism of it.

But hey, they buffed my favorite viking.Olaf So I got that going for me. Which is nice.

Most of my master/challenger/diamond friends have already uninstalled and quit the game. So, I mean, good job Riot I guess P_O.

What are you guys going to do ? Quit the Game ?? .... Yes Exactly moving away far far away from riot bullshit of a game

Dextix LT4/21/2016, 7:56:04 PM6 votes

Considering how long queque times are becoming for higher rank players, people are already leaving. We will have a simmilar situation to WOW and Runescape here.

Osaka 7784/21/2016, 10:21:58 PM6 votes

Well, yes. The only real vote we get as solo queue players that don't like dynamic queue because of its obvious flaws, is to stop playing LoL and stop spending money on RP.

Dr Poro4/21/2016, 7:26:28 PM5 votes

No, that's not how it went.

They made new questionable changes that stole all the attention.

They could've waited for a year and the boards would still be filled with complaints about dynamic queue. But with the upcoming mage update, everyone has their remarks to point out. People complain. People will always complain. You cannot stop that. You can only change the topic that is complained about. (either by fixing the initial issue, or by introducing something even worse)

I've been playing Minecraft and enjoying it more than this game last few weeks.... [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Auryiel4/22/2016, 1:10:59 AM5 votes

You say that like they haven't been doing this for YEARS lol

Masochist4/22/2016, 3:01:48 AM4 votes

Forced Dynamic Queue on the forums community - which might be four or five percent of all users, IF that.

What a shame.

Dr W4/21/2016, 8:05:37 PM3 votes

Why doesn't Riot say anything? There is a fucking overwhelming portion of people that hate dynamic queue. It seriously blows my mind how they can keep pushing this dynamic q trash.

They already knew that. This isn't some technique Riot is pioneering, this is standard PR when you make a controversial change like this.

First lie, then soften the lie, then make excuses, then pretend the issue doesn't exist. Always, always works.

And yeah, I've quit playing. But Riot really doesn't care if a few people quit.

The Voids Call4/22/2016, 6:47:25 PM2 votes

Idk if you can say they successfully forced it, because it's pretty much impossible for the community to resist.

This is the case for every game dev. verse their community. It's their game, you can dislike the changes and rally against them you want, but if they want to make these kinds of changes you have no control over it.

It's stupid because it shows a complete disconnect from their own fan base which is exactly what happened and is still occurring in WoW... but i guess we will see if they kill their own game or if they get lucky and find a new audience while retaining enough of their current one.
