he didnt know a nerf and also winrate isnt a good way to calculate how good a champions is
They should have seen how Galio was going to be after the triple Doran's Ring nerf before thinking about nerfing him. That said, he is still strong even now in the mid lane. You just have to make sure your team has enough damage before picking it.
its an LC$$$$$ nerf
