In lane, he could be detrimental. In team fights, it may as well have been a 4v5 if you had him on your team.

He was an unstoppable Juggernaut late game. He could litteraly 1v1 anyone. I don't think you were playing him right. Manamune, frozen gauntlet, spirit visage, deaths dance, black cleaver, merc treads

That would be untrue. He's got a lot more impact on the game, and while his laning is tricky, verging on weak, he really shines once team fighting begins, as he can force 4v5s with the Maiden by making her push a lane.

New Yorick is unnerfed and fits so well in today's meta of early game pushing

Not at all. I was mastery 7 old yorick and he was MUCH stronger.

Old Yorick was a pain in the ass in lane because he had no counter play. Once mid game rolled around he wasn't all that great because his teamfight was bad due to no reliable way to get damage off and if you built straight tank then you were a non factor because you had no hard cc. In a 1v1 his wave clear was average and was easily kited. Now Yorick is much harder to kite but has very defined windows of power and counterplay.
