Why has Trundle been nerfed?

I don't recall people complaining against him or saying that he was broken or something.

Many people actually say that he is underpowered because he is easy to kite and sucks at teamfighting.

I guess that this is wrong and maybe he deserves a nerf... but with so few people playing him, I am yet to know what made him deserve a nerf.

All that said, I don't know why exactly Trundle is considered problematic.

because trundle is opaf when he has full stacks of Fervor, which is very easy even with the changes to Fervor. Prenerf Fervor on Trundle is about as broken as prenerf WLBL on Yasuo. why don't people play him? Because a lot of people find him boring as hell to play.

The mana cost change to his E and R are there to make his ganks have more investment and be more encouraged to use R at the initiation instead of at the end to finish people off.

If jungle Trundle is broken then it doesn't matter if top lane is fine. But from what I gather he's broken wherever he goes.

Are you implying that Trundle's E is not something to consider during a gank just because he's top? CC on a toplaner is important for that very reason. Regardless if whether he is the top or the jungler, his E contributes to the gank equally as much.

It's not so much that he's boring to play, but that Trundle has always been a situational pick. He has a lot of power, but you can't just pick him into any matchup or team comp. That's why he isn't played often.

Trundle was never about that teamfight life. He wasn't bad at it, but that wasn't his goal. You see, with the current masteries, the AA based top laner and the sustain tank top laner has become very strong. Tryn, Jax, Fiora, Mundo, etc. Trundle rapes both of these. He steals the AD right off the AA based character, and then creates his duel arena increasing his stats. Against tanks, his passive sustain and ult just makes him even more tanky then he jumps them. Think of a very strong AA duelist that just steals your stats and scales greatly. I knew he was going to be nerfed soon.
