Compromise and taking the high road

Outside of American politics, only League players can make compromise more profane than the worst, most offensive epithet you could conceive. I've tried, and I know key phrases that can turn you to stone, cause you to burst into flame, or unwrite you from existence; somehow this is much worse.

We've all had that one scenario where two people call the same role. In an IDEAL world, one of them will compromise and choose another role. That ideal world has been disregarded as fanfiction. You'll get the occasional scenario where neither will compromise, and will go back and forth why they should be the jungler and the other should fuck off.

If this impasse doesn't resolve itself - and why would it? - then the game will devolve into a pissing contest between the two leading into the post-mortem. Why is it so hard to just compromise? Why do you need to waste everyone's time, including the ENEMY'S, to be an unwavering asshole? Compromise is not a dirty word! Stop making it one!
