I didn't realize a 3 minutes was sufficient time to determine that there was no one in a role Riot

Just autofilled after a 3 minute wait, like really? This is kinda ridiculous.

Autofill is a system used to fill roles that are lacking. How can you tell a role is lacking in 3 minutes?

Because it's a computer running an algorithm, not Jeff from down the block manually checking everyone in queue.

Still would think they'd have a time limit before it actually activates. This is why autofill is such a crappy system. It's done so sloppily that it's just like the lottery or something.

I sure do love how autofill "reduces" queue times. Sure you get into champ select in a minute or two, but then someone gets a role they don't like so they dodge and you go back into queue---this process repeats about 5 times before a game eventually goes through.

Then, of course, the team with the most autofilled players loses.

So, the net result is that queue times are actually longer while simultaneously game health and quality are lower.

Great system.
