Well you're right... but...
Have you seen what happens to an objective @ the 20 minute mark right now? Even with a Cait in Team - you dont siege. You A) are ahead and the tower/dragon explodes or B) are behind and dont even get close to an objective.
The only important tower push happening right now is the the first tower - which doesnt require a ranged AD, but waveclear. And a mage can delete waves unlike any ADC but Sivir.
We just need what people are asking for since... eternity. STRONG VALUEABLE TOWERS!
Any tower should be important, getting a tower should be anchievment, diving a tower should be a risk.
What if the point of towers getting weaker as the game continues? Short games? OK, than make the damn Map smaler and you have this 10 minute deathmatch which seems to be a good playstyle! But pls spare us with those paper figures called towers.
Sure a game could be a little longer if a tower allows an actual defense if a Team got Baron. But hey, that's why you have an ADC. You protect him to siege the base - that was the point of the class to beginn with! Hey imagine a Meta where
is actually a good item!
Make Towers strong - let them deal a ton of DMG Flat+%MaxHP (but not true - Tanks have a right to.. TANK) .
Give Tower Bonus Defense if there only a single enemy after... 15-20 minutes - Give towers Bonus Defense if your Team is around.
Making Towers strong against Splitpush as well as in Teamfights but vulnerable to rotations and AFTER good dives.
Give Towers Disabling Attacks, Stuning/Slowing/Rooting at the first hit on Champion for a sec with a moderate CD.
Before the 15-20 Minute mark towers should be stronger against Teams and more vulnerable to single Champions.
Allowing an actual Laning phase, shutting down any attemp of 4 man push meta, and punishing 4 man clown fiestas.
On the other hand, make minions stronger - pushing a whole Minionwave into a tower should be rewarded.
I dont want League to become a game of tower-defense. All I'm asking for is a little tactical approach being necessary to get your Game-objectices other than brute force. THAN you can reward those Tower kills with more Gold - still alowing a snowball - still reducing the game time.
But the fun of dieing to a Shyvana at 11 minutes and than watching her to 100-0 my tower getting the 'firstblood' before I even respawn (let's ignore my own JGL who didnt even bother to listen to my pings for a sec) doesnt really get to me. (In the Buff I suggested the tower would still be weak at that point... but dont get 100-0 maybe 100-50/100-25.
