And he easily carried the game. For whatever reason he was getting hate for picking Karma but he shrugged it off, got me super fed, then proceeded to be everywhere at once, warding, using redemption and locket to win team fights, locking people down with tether and ALWAYS keeping an eye on me for a quick shield if I was being dove.

THAT'S how you carry as a support. He didn't need a big KDA to know he did good, the S+ told him he did good, along with me of course. We didn't need another DPS, we needed that locket to secure the team fight and the redemption to keep us in their base without having to back.

So thank you Mr. Support for playing the role everybody shuns and doing a damn good job at it!

now I'm not a support player, nor was this an especially "good" play, but I saved this dude's ass about 6 times in 15 seconds which I was hella proud about (don't mind my dumbass laugh, it was like 3am and I was exhausted)

ya, this post just made me think about that^

but supports can legit carry games, especially now with the itemization. It's amazing to me that players think the support class is bad atm...cuz it's the best it's been in a long time

I don't know what people's problem with playing support is. The role is only boring if you let it. People saying "You can't carry as support" are people that think they need to get penta-kills to do it. Sure I can go 9-1-12 on my Leona getting me a S+ and get called a Raid Boss, but I don't need those things to enjoy myself as support because I do my job and if my ADC ends up being un-savably useless no matter what I do for them I roam to other lanes to help them pick stuff up getting them ahead enough to compensate.

I used to duo with a guy who had an amazing Thresh. Playing with him was the first time I ever saw how a support could carry. I met him when we were both in Bronze 2. I ended up lingering between Silver 5 and Silver 4 while he climbed all the way to Gold 4 playing Nami and Thresh.

Q_Q i love support but lately i felt like i'm not doing so well and im like a Sona 1 trick but i play caster supports .. i just have to learn how to carry.

also any support can build item 3190 item 3107 and carry mainly since its those items or bust. i just love denying kills as Lulu since people just call me a god for the best saves
