I think Gragas has a bug: Body Slam is ignoring roots.

Last night before bed, I was playing a League match. We were Jinx and Morgana, they were Gragas and Maokai. We got stomped because Gragas would just dive right on top of us with Maokai assisting and we couldn't get them peeled off. We kept trying to use our root skills to hold him back to no effect, when I noticed two things happening.

When Gragas dashed with Body Slam, his dash carried him OVER Jinx's Chompers without triggering the root. When Morgana tried to Bind him, the spell hit, and he had the animation effect of the Dark Binding on him, but he kept dashing forward anyway even though the Binding had contacted him.

Our rooting skills were completely ignored by Gragas's Body Slam, and he was able to "barrel" over us without either of our rooting skills putting a stop to him.

As far as I know, Gragas is not supposed to be immune to CC while using Body Slam. Is this intended, and has anyone else seen this?

it's because the movement is in progress, you would have to snare him before he finished casting body slam. It's the same thing with almost any dash, the only way to stop it mid-dash is with displacement, ie pull, hook, knock up. Stuns, roots, and snares will only take effect once the movement is complete.

I believe quinn is the only adc that has a displacement ability, her vault, and I am not sure how that would interact with gragas' body slam. I believe it would stop his body slam but I think the return on her vault would be interrupted.
