Can there please be a better way to deal with invasions?

When you lose your camps - or even worse, your life - due to counter-jungling, you're forced to rely on your team to protect you from falling behind.

That's not cool. Laners get a turret to hide under and minions to block certain attacks, so at least they can play around that. But as a jungler, you have no equivalent protection. All you can do is put down vision and hope that you aren't in the same place at the same time if your team can't react in time or flat-out refuses to help you.

It's even worse when your team starts blaming you for being behind when they know full well that they didn't do a thing to stop the counter-jungler from getting fed off of your camps. The icing on the cake is that they usually assume you're incompetent and will take your camps, often right out from under you, because they think that putting you even more behind proves a point.

Vision won't save you when champions like Shaco or Udyr can and will win duels with impunity. We need mechanics in place that protect junglers from invasions beyond vision.

Honestly, its about knowing your matchups and the junglers that are most likely to invade and ones that are easily invaded.

Junglers that will more then likely invade: Lee Sin, Nidalee, Shaco, Udry, Xin Zhao Junglers easily invaded: Amumu, Wukong, or anyone that has a really bad early clear in means of low health after full or half clear

And that helps how? Just knowing you're going to get invaded won't stop the invasion. Sure, you can run away, but then they just take your camps and continue harassing you.

If you know where they are, you can farm where they aren't...

It's like you're repeating what I'm saying, except not getting the point.

When you're forced to leave your camps for them, they get ahead and you only get more behind. Farming elsewhere doesn't solve this problem.

You need to put thought into it. If Lee Sin is spending the whole game waiting at your blue buff to kill you then you don't need to repeatedly go to your blue buff. Smite wolfs as often as possible, take any camps you can take safely, ward so that you know when you can and can't take your buffs and if you're keeping tabs on the enemy jungler enough, go into their jungle and clear their camps while they're taking yours.

There's plenty you can do.

it's not going to stop it but it can help you either prepare yourself, or your team for it. If There's a blitz crank, I'll generally start top side jungle besides teams will try to cheese with a blitz for an easy kill. I'll ward before taking my buffs so I can see someone coming (where generally I won't).

Ask top laner to ward buff closest to them at 130ish. See them starting your buff? Take your first then go straight to their buff and take it. Get trackers knife for the wards.

That's the point of why some junglers are early game champions (like Shaco, Lee Sin, Evelynn, etc...), they are strong early and scale off as the game goes on. Your side of the jungle is quite massive, as it is practically half the map, and with smart rotations, you could avoid being heavily behind from an invade or just completely avoid it at all.

How they invade you is based off of how they believe you would rotate and which camps will be up at the time, smart clearing and backing when needed can prevent such struggles from getting out of hand.

You can also place wards in your jungle and provided crucial information, not like you don't have any wards or can't get any in early game.

They usually would just return to the same camp when it comes back up to deny you further. It's not hard to do, yet ridiculously hard to oppose without at least two teammates covering for you. (This is especially true of buff camps.)

Have your team help. If I know shaco s against me I'm going to be asking my team to hand loose to come help out

More often than not they can't help. Counter-jungling is usually done with champions that have a lot of escape potential, exactly like Shaco, and there's even less point trying to run after him if the enemy laners just follow into the fight.
