I think that "Reaper" is a significantly stronger title than "Slayer", and they should be switched.

RasCaelestis9 votesThis is so much better. Disregarding the (hopefully) typo of 'Bulward' I really do not like the upper-tier titles for tanks. Even the Support's 'Defender' and 'Guardian' sound more appropriate for tanks than 'Brute.'
Also, 'Bruiser' is pretty much synonymous for 'Fighter' in this game, so it really doesn't make sense for it to be a Tank title.

Except that the reaper is the cause of inevitable death, while the slayer is avoidable.
A dragonslayer would be a character who has slain at least one dragon. A dragonREAPER would be a character who has slain a considerable amount of dragons, to the pointwhere nobody is even impressed when the character does it again, because the act of that character killing a dragon becomes akin to a dragon dying a natural death.
Slayer: Legendary dragonslayer hailed by the village after slaying the dragon and it's brood. Drizzt levels of fame. Jon Snow. The Hound. Dario. Frodo. Aragorn. Boromir. Emil Eagle. Gus Goose.
Reaper: Beyond legend; inevitable, so integrated in legend that he's the one showing up at the end of the slayer's saga, giving the Dragonslayer a crown, before vanishing back into obscurity. In every story about a slayer ever told. Think Elminster-levels of fame. R'hollor. Coldhands. Gandalf. Tom Bombadil. Sauron. Mickey Mouse. Donald Duck.
Other than that, the reaper reaps what HE considers ready for harvest -- completely and utterly disregarding what anyone else thinks of the matter, and inevitably reaps what he has decided to reap -- while a slayer can fail.

Also, magus is better than warlock, and ranger is way better than pathfinder.

Considering supports tend to look after the more strategic aspects of the general team, id have though a line like: "Planner, Tactician, Strategist, Mastermind, Manipulator" would suit better.....also covers champs like Zyra.....who doesn't really fit in as a Guardian..
kDrakari8 votesAll the Marksman titles are about scouting... which doesn't really make much sense compared to their actual role in-game. Support titles are all about protection, but that's only one of the jobs of a support. Tank titles are just kinda... Well, they don't seem to substantially increase in power, nor do they seem to relate to being a Tank any more than being a Fighter.
I agree with you on Reaper v. Slayer, but I don't think that's the biggest issue with the current titles.
If it were up to me, Tank titles need to be almost entirely scrapped and replaced. Or maybe just move most of the Support's current titles over and think of some completely new ones for Support instead. Marksman and Support's titles are at least consistent even if they don't fit the roles that well, so they don't need to be as high priority as fixing the nonsense Tank titles.

Reaper. A champion who harvests opponent champions' lives as effortlessly as a farmer harvests his fields. I'd expect this to mean a 10:1 ratio for an assassin; Considerably much better than Slayer.
... Brute... Yeah. Eh. No.
Juggernaut. Sentinel. Guardian. ...brute could be the first level of fighter.

I'm interested to see what they add onto the top end when they add more ranks (which they've said they'll do eventually). Presumably that's when we'll see things like Archmage, Juggernaut, and Paragon.

Fırewall1 votesTo the people crying about the tank tree. I'd like to explain something, you're all picturing a tank as something meant to protect.
But let me actually tell you, throught history, we've used, big, mean, tanky, immortal pieces of weaponry as offensive measures. If you go around giving the Tank tree titles like : Bastion, Bulwark, Aegis, Guard, tanks might aswell be called "supports".
In that sense, Riot's tank titles work. A bruiser is a big tall motherfucking dude who takes a few hits and goes like "tsk, nothing more?", a brute is that guy, wearing a huge suit of diving equipment and is about to smack you with an anchor. Sure, as a support main, I'd rather have a title for Leona like "Bastion" or "Aegis", but let's face it... "Brute" is pretty accurate.
