I think "Reaper" is better than "Slayer"
According to the Titles, Assassins will be known as:
- Thug
- Prowler
- Cutthroat
- Reaper
- Slayer
I think that "Reaper" is a significantly stronger title than "Slayer", and they should be switched.

You can say all you want about how the Assassin titles messed up the last two slots, I'm super salty about how the Tank titles messed up on the entirety.
Mage Initiate Conjurer Invoker Magus Warlock
- Dang it! I knew I should have been the Warlock Ascendant!
A reaper shows up once you are already dead or about to die, opposed to a slayer who simply decides that you will die. On the other hand, reaper sounds way cooler.
When I think of Reaper, I think of this. That's much cooler than a slayer.
Also, magus is better than warlock, and ranger is way better than pathfinder.
Hang on a sec...... Support sounds more like tank... Considering supports tend to look after the more strategic aspects of the general team, id have though a line like: "Planner, Tactician, Strategist, Mastermind, Manipulator" would suit better.....also covers champs like Zyra.....who doesn't really fit in as a Guardian..
All the Marksman titles are about scouting... which doesn't really make much sense compared to their actual role in-game. Support titles are all about protection, but that's only one of the jobs of a support. Tank titles are just kinda... Well, they don't seem to substantially increase in power, nor do they seem to relate to being a Tank any more than being a Fighter.
I agree with you on Reaper v. Slayer, but I don't think that's the biggest issue with the current titles.
If it were up to me, Tank titles need to be almost entirely scrapped and replaced. Or maybe just move most of the Support's current titles over and think of some completely new ones for Support instead. Marksman and Support's titles are at least consistent even if they don't fit the roles that well, so they don't need to be as high priority as fixing the nonsense Tank titles.
Slayer. A champion who has slain a lot of enemies. I'd expect this to mean a 5:1 ratio for an assassin, if titles had to be maintained. They are not, but -- still. To put a value on the title, I'd put it at 5:1.
Reaper. A champion who harvests opponent champions' lives as effortlessly as a farmer harvests his fields. I'd expect this to mean a 10:1 ratio for an assassin; Considerably much better than Slayer.
... Brute... Yeah. Eh. No.
Juggernaut. Sentinel. Guardian. ...brute could be the first level of fighter.
Several of the roles are a bit... meh...
Assassin: you pointed it out well enough Tank: These are just... ugh Marksman: just because you use a bow doesn't make you a rogue... Support: Maybe I've played too much Golden Sun, but I was really hoping for Paragon here.
I'm interested to see what they add onto the top end when they add more ranks (which they've said they'll do eventually). Presumably that's when we'll see things like Archmage, Juggernaut, and Paragon.
Brute
... That feels so wrong ._.
I'm thinking "Legend" should be the highest rank considering this is the League of Legends.
Buffy The Vampire Reaper. That doesn't nearly as cool, sorry man.
What about ninja, like honestly that's the whole point of being an assassin, and ninjas are the MASTERS of stealth and assassinations.
I have to agree with you... Reaper sounds badass and cool, then you 'upgrade' to Slayer and it'll feel like a downgrade, really. Swap the place of the two, and it feels like normal progression.
Good God these are terrible.
I agree with a conflict in mastery names, but I feel like lvl 6 mastery for all roles should be legend because it like league of legends. I don't know how they would incorporate it but I feel its needed.
They did extremely well for the fighters i feel! :D
To the people crying about the tank tree. I'd like to explain something, you're all picturing a tank as something meant to protect.
But let me actually tell you, throught history, we've used, big, mean, tanky, immortal pieces of weaponry as offensive measures. If you go around giving the Tank tree titles like : Bastion, Bulwark, Aegis, Guard, tanks might aswell be called "supports".
In that sense, Riot's tank titles work. A bruiser is a big tall motherfucking dude who takes a few hits and goes like "tsk, nothing more?", a brute is that guy, wearing a huge suit of diving equipment and is about to smack you with an anchor. Sure, as a support main, I'd rather have a title for Leona like "Bastion" or "Aegis", but let's face it... "Brute" is pretty accurate.
"My only major complaint is that Rank 4 Assassin title is "Reaper" and Rank 5 is "Slayer"
Slayer more used to describe a person, where Reaper has supernatural roots and is a legendary creature or used to describe a person of equal fear.
Please switch those two titles..."
The above was my exact comment on the thread announcing it. I'm really not happy with this minor thing. I don't know why i just bothers the hell outta me.
Warlock
All good magic users are now the male equivalent of a witch?
So Ahri has a penis now?
...on second thought, I am okay with this.
I just want one of the later if not final support titles to be Sage. Because Dark Cloud 2.
"An enemy has been been SLAIN" "an ally has been SLAIN"
DOES IT SAY REAPED? YEA, I DIDN'T THINK SO
CASE DISMISSED, BRING IN THE DANCING LOBSTERS
