I'd feel dumb to pay and travel for it.

We need better comeback mechanics or some sorta variety side-show aside from the opening to make it a fun show.

But you realize that this wasn't a stomp because "comeback mechanism were bad"? FNC got dicked only because IG outclassed them, every played of IG played better in his position than FNC counterparts.

Im sorry, but if teams aren't close to being even then Riot can't do anything to make their matches interesting.

In my continuously-mocked opinion, the whole GAME needs to retool how it's power distribution works. Having the winning team be so powerful when ahead that the losing team can't even play is extremely unfun to work with.

I mean, Worlds meta is just the end of what the Gameplay Boards was asking for: the supremacy of solo lanes over botlane.

And that can only happen in a gigastomp meta when the team winning wins so easy and quick once they are ahead.

Also yes IG isn't known for their teamfighting but that's because they play in LPL

Fnatic had no idea how to play from behind. Every game they won they got an early advantage for the most part. I think it was an issue of FNC underperforming and IG staying consistent rather than any issue with the game. This was the team they beat twice in a row at the end of group stage and they couldn't even shave a game off of them. They just tilt too easily, you can see it in Rekkles' face.

Quarterfinals were some of the most exciting Worlds games ever, so I don't think it's the patch they were playing. I will agree that finals were pretty disappointing after such hype was built up. I would have been happy if they had just brought it to 5 games, but FNC just didn't show up.
