Building BC first item, as I usually do with 
, feels like I'm nerfing myself until the item is completed.
The problem is that you have to sit on +10 ad 
until the item is completed (3000 gold).
More long swords in its build path?
I don't want to be nerfed building my core item.
The point of it is to be a bruiser item. Not fighter, not marksman, bruiser. 10 ad doesn't affect much when you're waiting on autos, but it's not that bad when you take into account the abilities of all of the people who use it. 10 ad on people like Renekton and Garen is another ~30 damage on each of their abilities. Ever notice how back when Cleaver used to take a hammer Garen would suddenly do like 900 damage with his rank 3 E? Yeah. That was before they added mini-cleaver to it, too.
