Community complains about mobilty creep... bring on Rakan... support with a dash

I thought it was funny how Meddlers one developer letter or whatever addressed their concerns about mobility creep and then like two weeks later they released Camille.

Well, to be fair it's nice to play the support role and have that option. It's not like the support role is oversaturated with mobility... yet.

Whether or not mobility creep is an issue, I don't think a support having a dash is a huge deal.

You're right it's not like most new champs have lacked point and click dashing or reworks

(And yes: Out of combat mobility is a planet-sized distance from in-combat point-and-click dashing or MS boosts)

Ask the support "mains" that cried because they couldn't be flashy and were "underappreciated" even though they just need to get good at the game.

Rakan's is at least a champion-targeted dash_(es)_, probably the least egregious kind of dash there is.

Plus his kit would suck without it due to being a squishy with a supportive diver's kit.

I thought people complained that supports compared to most classes didn't have that much mobility options outside movement speed increases?

They also complain about damage creep, while also complaining about shields at the same time.

Yea, i'd rather have riot balance by themselves and not by bronze ELO players complaining about everything they lose to.

The part to me that is even more hilarious is that they REALLY wanted Xayah to have a dash as well. Like tbh I think we just need to start accepting that every new champion and rework will include some kind of mobility. I'm expecting to have a mixture of a dash and a blink where she jumpscares you from invisibility.

most new champs will have dashes. it makes the games go faster and allows for flashy plays which is what they want.
