Too many games one-sided stomps. My average game length over the last 13 games is 25 mins.

And this is in Silver.

The towers are falling like paper cards. Where has my mid game gone? One tower falls in a lane then a couple of mins later 4 more go and we cant answer back. Baron taken without contest. DEFEAT.

Has something in the game changed? Just don't get it......

Damage creep.

Just insane damage creep.

Towers are worthless now in comparison because a marksman can kill you with two hits in less than 1.5 seconds so a tower that does a measly 100 damage per shot isn't going to even scratch anyone, assuming that the tower has a chance to land a shot given how short engagements are.

The durability of towers is relative to the damage output of champions. Which, y'know, is waaaaaay higher than it was the last time towers were tweaked. If towers did 50% of your max hp as true damage, it still would not be enough. The problem is that minions don't matter anymore. They're just a source of gold. In the old days, you had to win the strategic game of manipulating lanes / minion waves to capture towers with correct timing. Nowadays, you just need a living marksman in range of it to push it down in 12 seconds of auto-attack.

The game is purely based on early game now. everything went to shit when they introduced first tower gold honestly. makes no sense.

Honestly, atm there are a lot of high elos out on alt accounts contaminating low elo games causing an unwanted damage creep, that lowers competition. They don't want to play on their mains and risk loss of mmr.

Damage has been increased. While others will argue that "its a tank meta" that is false. Tanks slow down games. If it deals high amounts of damage it is not a tank.

most of the terrible global mechanics changes of season 6, and more terrible choices in season 7.

turret first blood, removal of fortification on the bot lane turret, massively increased death timers (this is exceptionally snowbally), split pushing minions (the more your team is behind in levels the harder the enemy minions push and keep lane pressure up).

and some others i might not recall right now.

riot just kept pushing for shorter and shorter games, which made them more snowbally. tried to "fix" the snowball with catch up xp. which in turn resulted in more agressive junglers, since they dont even have to farm to keep up in xp anymore.

riot killed every strategy that was based on outfarming or counterjungling your opponent instead of turning the game into a constant gank fiesta.

maybe you should stop making mistakes that cost the whole game during that time.

but then again, everyone does in low elo, so its normal.

Pre-season of season 6. Around 5.18ish. That is when I am willing to say league of legends truly started to go down hill for me. That was the changes to towers, marksman update, jungle stuff, and many other changes that all felt wrong and are some form of it still existing. For me, this season has not been any fun. I just don't have the same enjoyment and the rapid pace of games adds to this. I want games to be a back and forth struggle. I want games to be even. I don't want uphill battles that feel awful. I don't want quick stomps. I want season 4 and 5 back. I want those seasons because that was when league was fun.
