RITO, shouldn't Tryndamere be part of the rework vote?
Don't get me wrong, I love that you actually ask us which champion we want reworked, but IMO Trynda needs it just as bad as the rest 5.

He needs it way more than most of them imo. While a champ like Shyvana or Volibear might not be fulfilling the fantasy of their kit, at least they're not causing any problems. Tryndamere is not only dull but a blatantly unhealthy statcheck, and his ult (invincibility even under hard CC) should have never existed in the game. Babysitting him top lane while he plays pve is a mindnumbing chore, especially with how incredibly forgiving his kit is. Why they chose to BUFF him in pbe is beyond me.
Honestly Nocturne shouldn't have been there , he could be easily replaced by Trynda.
I gave mine to mundo but yeah if tryd was on that list i would have picked him in a heart beat because playing with and against him is a displeasure unlike anyother. [zombie-nunu-bummed]
Where's Udyr for that matter? He is without a doubt the most boring binary champion in League.

Earnest Answer: Because he needs way more work than just changing a few abilities and these VGUs seem to be either relatively small scale (Nocturne, Fiddle, Mundo) or have a strong thematic and won't need more exploration (Volibear, Shyvana)

Honestly, why couldn't Riven be put up there? I'd like to rid the game of one less anomaly that gets a get out of jail free card for nerfs.

I hate Tryndamere but I don't think he needs a full VGU.
Trying to be objective about Tryndamere here, the reasons:
- Tryndamere has a pretty large playerbase that enjoys playing him.
- He fulfils a niche in the game that doesn't really overlap much with any other champion.
- His thematics and kit go together pretty nicely, he's a rage fueled Berserker warrior.. plays like it.
Reasons to rework Tryndamere:
- His graphics aren't the best but they aren't too bad, his voice lines are bad though.
- He is stat-checky, and there's some frustration dealing with him.
- His W is kind of a weird and outdated kinda skill.
So I think Tryndamere overall, would be more like a mini update - some stats changed around, maybe 1 spell completely changed (W) - but fulfilling a simular function, the others minorly adjusted, with a new model and voice lines, such as Ezreal or Morgana. But not a total VGU where he's thrown into the blender like Aatrox or Irelia.

Nah: he already has mobility, cc, damage, sustain, and invulnerability. He only needs some range and a windwall and then he'd be on par with the new champs, without needing a rework.
isnt it just a VGU? i think thats what i read? a visual gameplay update? VISUAL?
i think it's more that Riot knows already "when" to rework trynda, or they don't have a direction yet. either way, him not being in the poll doesn't mean he won't be reworked this year
