I am looking at the new runes and I am like "wtf is this". They can now break the attack speed cap.

Actually, the one you should look out for, as far as that rune is concerned, is Azir.

AS from Nashors and within his kit, as well as the Legend: Alacrity rune and passively from the Precision tree, will give him so much attack speed.

Add on the Transcendence talent from Sorcery, and he can over-build CDR to get extra AP, so a build with Nashors, Banshees, and Zhonyas is possible with even more CDR, and Manaflow Band so he doesn't run outta mana.

I can see KogMaw, Tristana, and similar using both the AS and new Fervor runes together...unless im wrong

you can only take 1 keystone so the new fervor and the one that let you break the attack speed cap are mutually exclusive

Yeah - there's still the free ad for every 10 min into game which is kinda like free fervor stacks except you get the full benefit right away - not after stacking 6-10 times.

Most adc's don't get near the current AS cap as it is. That won't be nearly as big an issue as you think. A few champs will utilize it well, but not most.

Kayle KogMaw MasterYi Varus (with item 3124 build)Vayne (maybe)

I could also see more emphasise on attack speed items in place of ad on certain champs Vayne (already good that way - infinitely stacking ad rune just helps this build be better) Tristana MasterYi (again - you just need attack speed and already kill people regardless of armor - getting extra ad for every auto let's you itemize more attack speed and still pack good ad) Kindred (generally as-focused builds) KogMaw (4 as items plus 1 ad item for survivability/lifesteal, hit like you have 3 ad items) Kalista (helps her scale better probably since she gets off so many aa's in a fight)

Forget the as rune - stacking ad on every auto and keep half the stacks when swapping targets. Now adc's don't have to feel bad at all if they can only focus a tank first. And vayne? She won't have to build a single ad item that doesn't buff her attack speed as well and she'll still have a ton of ad. The only way this doesn't prove to be an issue is that the target will die before the stacking ad gets to be too insanely high - and what kind of counterplay is that? Haha jokes on you - I died before you got 50 free ad off shooting me?

I still think shell go the warlords rune. She tumbles, weaves in and out, etc, so i imagine shed still like warlords better.

Let's just ignore every single other rune ofc.

Runes are still in tuning, Riot will try to balance these out for all classes, lets hope thats what happens.

Great. So many champions can use this! All of...Kog'maw. The only champion that ever hits the AS cap outside of URF in any meta build.

Even Jax, with a stacked Rageblade and passive, and with Triforce, doesn't hit 2.5 AS, unless you also take AS runes. And even then, you'd only barely be over it.

The cap removal is basically irrelevant. Nobody will need it.

Lethal tempo also gives a huge bonus attack speed. It will make you break the attack speed cap easily.
