Got backdoored by a Twitch yesterday

Ended up losing that game, cuz we had no idea he was doing it. If only we had some sort of an item to reveal stealth champs. Oh yea, Riot removed that item.

That awkward moment when Twitch's invisibility is actually camouflage so a Control Ward would actually spot him, but OP decides to bash on Riot instead of admitting mistakes.

Twitch's stealth is camouflage, so technically, Control Ward can still reveal him.

I can btch about whoever I want. Riot may have changed the terminology, but it's all stealth to me (and that's the way it has been for years) and it's fcking stupid.

I know he's strong right now. Just that your argument is silly because it could have been avoided if you bought a control ward and placed it in the right spot.

I didn't mention this in the OP, so I'll say it now. I was full build when this happened. I didn't have any space in my inventory.

Were you the support? I know that the full build ward is a problem, but usually the support has an item slot for it.

No, I was the jungler in that game. Basically, we got baited into a fight outside our base. We won the fight, but while we were fighting Twitch managed to slip into our base and end the game. I admit it was well played on his part, but I'm still kind of salty about not having space for a ward.

hmmmm.... Oh right, there is an item that does that. It's called a control ward. If your team didn't buy a control ward to counter a camo champ, you kind of deserved that backdoor. You have to adapt.

It doesn't matter which champion it is. Stealth in general is just dumb.

How so? It invites more tactical decisions than just, "you're on crowd control, you're the adc, you go top, you support the adc, and I'll be the jungler." It gives ways to move around the map and ways for a character to have a bit of control over the flow of combat.

People leave their base sometimes. That's a thing, you know? You don't just sit in your base all day.

Not all day, but maybe when you have an inhib down and an open nexus and no vision of everyone on the other team you should be ready for someone trying to win.

Funny, I backdoored as a Teemo before...if only there was some item that could prevent me...oh wait Teleport? Other teammates?...Global TAUNT that's what it was...I remember now.
