Is Kha'Zix mid/top viable again?

I've recently used Kha'Zix mid/top, BEFORE the changes from 5.11 (because he is one of my favorite champions and I wanted to get mastery with him as quickly as possible) - But I feel that AFTER the changes from 5.11 he became a lot stronger because now it is way easier to get an isolated target during teamfights and skirmishes.

With that said, I've used him mid and found that he works well against immobile mages such as Orianna, Twisted Fate, Karthus, Viktor, Syndra and Ziggs. What I do against them is freezing the lane, wait for them to push, and then, leap at them and Q for tons of damage. People don't expect that Q does that much damage early game, and pushing lane against Kha'Zix is a very big mistake as it opens them for isolation.

He doesn't fare well, however, against Vladimir (because he can heal himself, counter the leap with his sanguine pool, and become too tanky to be bursted down late game), Lulu, Cho'Gath, Ahri, and he also fares poorly against other assassins due to the fact that compared to them, his early game is weak, though he outscales all of them.

At top lane I haven't tested him enough to come to a conclusion.

My build for him most of time has been: (not necessarily on that order - and as for boots, I usually tend to choose between depending from how well I fare on the game and what dangerous threats the enemy team has)
